    Also referees are human beings and sometimes might need to have something very politely pointed out by a coach - in defense of their wrestler

    Yes I would if they are available. I've wrestled without a coach at tournaments and also with my dad and a teammate as my coach when no one else was available. Something about the moral support of having guys literally in your corner seems to be a morale boost. Also if you have guys from the same school facing off, you can have the coaches ensure it doesn't get nasty

    I favor Kaylor, but not by a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if Davis won and if Oregon State ultimately gets shutout. The underdog supporter in me will be rooting for the Beavers

    This is his fifth year of college - putting him somewhere around 23 years old. There are people who have served as soldiers for five years at that point. He's old enough to know the difference.

    Caiden Pelc of Lindenwood with the fall over Dustin Norris of Purdue. Pelc is a long gangly wrestler for 133. Even taller than Norris which is rare at the weight. And he was winning prior to earning the third period fall. It was the only match won in the dual for Lindenwood but a nice upset anyway. Norris is listed at 5'9. Pelc must be 5'11 or 6'0

    I also think if you map out the scenario analysis, even if you stand for nothing at all, it makes sense to avoid

    Yeah I guess there will be types that will be drawn to a Ferrari family title team but once you start going for those types, what do you actually stand for? Aside from the likelihood of it all going wrong, there has to be something more important than winning alone.
