  1. Like I said - I was expecting more normal starters. It is not cool to burn the fans like this. I have no idea about Beard and McGonagle. It would be a big let down if they didn't (unless they're showcasing Crookham, which I am here for)
  2. I wish the teams would give a little bit of forward guidance for this sort of thing. Here I am gathering popcorn and budweiser to see a backup get whooped.
  3. So far, it has been: 141: Hines (the usual starter) 149: Munch (the third string 149 lber) 157: Max Brignola (starter at 149) 165: Luca Frinzi (backup)
  4. Luca Frinzi against Ramirez means that Lehigh is without Humphreys tonight and will probably win a total of one match tonight (after defeating Cornell just last year)
  5. Looks like Bono finally admitted defeat
  6. Handlovic with a pretty big win over Brignola who bumped up for the match.
  7. I don't have a system by day - I just like to rotate every other case. But tonight indeed goes to the King
  8. wow looks like a burrito but using a mini-croissant instead of tortilla. which actually sounds incredible
  9. Handlovic went to high school walking distance from Lehigh University. Makes for a bit of a fun back story here.
  10. Announcer mentions Brignola is going at 157 which makes me wonder if Humphreys is bumping up to face Ramirez (in which case it's time for some popcorn and another beer)
  11. Yianni gets the tech. Ever since they switched from backpoints being 3 to 4, we have this situation sometimes where a guy is 14-0 up after the first period (on take down and three turns). Only to result in the hilarious result of clinching a tech fall with an escape.
  12. looked painful. I wonder if our threads can be merged. otherwise, we can just use yours
  13. Munch in the lineup would seem to mean that both Brignola and Bryant are both injured. Tough year for injuries it seems.
  14. at precisely the same time as you
  15. Yianni is always a joy to watch. Beautiful couple of moves here against the backup Munch
  16. Not sure what the team score is. Just tuned in to see Malyke Hines get an upset over Vince Cornella. Who is watching? @BerniePraglein attendance?!
  17. Harrison has a good voice for the job. Speaks clearly with plenty of intonation and passion.
  18. This year's Brock Hardy is better than last year's Chad Red
  19. Davison able to get to 'oppi's legs but wasn't able to finish. 'oppi got in on Davison's legs only once, without a great angle, and finished rather easily. seemed to be a major strength difference between them
  20. I would put money on Lee bonusing whoever he faces in the finals (and everyone along the way). Glory will be major decisioned if he's really lucky.
  21. Labriola just hit the rare triple leg takedown (both legs and everything between)
  22. I also feel like he is stylistically a change of pace from the stockier Hawkeye prototype
  23. Not a great quote, but I always remember it because it makes me laugh. My neighbor growing up was a weight below me. We would carpool to away matches and our parents would tape each other's kids so the actual parents could watch without worrying about recording. His dad was tough on him and the following convo happened after he got pinned in a headlock early in the first period. Dad: "Nice going, Matt. What did you last, about ten seconds?" Matt: "But Dad! He got me in a headlock!" Dad: "Matt, this is wrestling. Don't let him get you in a headlock."
