  1. I haven't been to Chicago since I was 20. Fun times back then but sounds like things have changed a bit
  2. 125: Lorenzo 133: Koelzer 141: Schwartz 149: McDougald / Wiley 157: McDougald / Wiley / Hill 165: Nijenhuis / Carlson 174: Picklo 184: Hoose / Parker RS 197: Buchanan 285: Heindselman / Mora
  3. Wrestlestat updated Rutgers to reflect what some rumors on the Scarlet Knights board had suggested earlier this summer. Anthony Clark will not be taking a redshirt after all - and will be starting at 157, while Tony White will bump up from 149 to 165. Final lineup for Rutgers: 125: Dean Peterson 133: Dylan Shawver 141: Mitch Moore 149: Jacob Butler 157: Andrew Clark 165: Tony White 174: Jackson Turley 184: Brian Soldano 197: John Poznanski 285: Yaraslau Slavikouski Very solid
  4. While we have you here (an SIUE alum) - I have to say I'm a big fan of Saul Ervin My dad doesn't actively follow wrestling, but I was spending time with him last year during Midlands and we kept getting to see Saul Ervin matches and he was upsetting guys left and right. Gritty, calculated, and under the radar - fun wrestler. Will be keeping an eye out for him this year
  5. Is this the aftermath of prolonged exposure to Lenny Pinto? Ionel told me something about the flammability conditions of the young Cornhusker which may be cause for concern
  6. Potato pancakes - now you're talking. Had a Jewish kid in my elementary school. His dad came in and made potato pancakes for everyone - I've been in love ever since
  7. Haven't spent enough time in either place but generally I think I'd enjoy. For outside the US, some good choices have been 1. Amman, Jordan 2. Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 3. Sofia, Bulgaria 4. Thun, Switzerland All are sizable towns in their own right but aren't generally targeted as a tourist destination. I can go there, experience new culture without being ripped off and without being surrounded by imbeciles all the time (people on vacation)
  8. Runza seems a bit like a Cornish Pasty
  9. After he bit Aaron Brooks it left a bad taste in both NHS and Brand's mouth
  10. I think Webster especially will be a likely starter next year. I guess at 149
  11. I consider myself a wanderer
  12. I follow an Americam Local foods page and learned about this whole thing last year. Pretty cool and now I mention it whenever Nebraska comes up until I learn something else
  13. Tourists stink - I agree. So much so that I like to choose travel destinations which are unlikely to have many tourists.
  14. I had considered that, but after seeing what the penalties were for the violations, it didn't seem like he would be forced to miss the whole season unless he was betting on wrestling which is not that easy to do in the first place.
  15. A bowl of chili served with a cinnamon bun - courtesy of @jajensen09
  16. Attasauov (who has two years left of availability) has been removed from Iowa States Wrestlestat roster. Maybe he graduated and HEW? Or maybe it was a clerical error. Anyways, Grice and Redding seem to be well positioned to start
  17. Casey Swiderski will redshirt this year and aim on building to 157 for next year.
  18. Larry Saenz in the portal at 141 for Cal Poly. Makes me think Belton will be a mustang
  19. Ah yeah- forgot about Mirza. Agreed with the above
  20. I predict Tagen Jamison over Sammy Alvarez but then Alvarez beating out Williams at 149 Wittlake to 174 with Plott on RS Carroll and Thompson both starting. 125: Spratley 133: Fix 141: Jamison 149: Alvarez 157: Manibog 165: Olejnik 174: Wittlake 184: Thompson 197: Surber 285: Carroll
