  1. Stuck in office, ESPN blocked from work computer, phone is still buffering from purchasing ELO tickets from before... Looks like it's up to y'all to keep me updated.
  2. I want to know who missed weight already.
  3. Coach in high school used to quote this moment any time someone would make a brash decision that contradicted what he was telling us to do in a match. I will never forgive Molinaro for this choice.
  4. 1. Brooks - 95% 2. Keckeisen - 85% 3. O'Toole - 80% 4. Kerklivet - 70% 5. Haines - 69% 6. Mendez - 50% 7. Lovett - 45% 8. Lewis - 10% 9. Davis - 5% 10. Fix - 2% I just feel like Fix is destined to not have an NCAA title at this point.
  5. As long as it's what God intended for them, then I am ok with this.
  6. Keckeisen is the one guy I need to absolutely see win a title. Dude has had it rough being behind Pastor Brooks for his entire career up to this point.
  7. Bastida semi slides to a 6th place finish - we get a rather uninteresting Kerk/Wyatt final. God continues to laugh at the plan he set in motion for Penn State.
  8. I am calling now that winner of Ungar/Peterson takes out Davis in the second round.
  9. Or they both put on a stalling clinic for the ages the entire match.
  10. 125: Davis vs. Stanich McKee vs. Anyone on the backside 133: Shawver vs. Vito 141: Echemendia vs. Woods rematch 165: Mesenbrink vs. Carr 174: Injured Griffith vs. Injured Stall Rock 184: Rogotzke vs. anyone who wants to roll around with him. Didn't notice Foca was up to 184 - I am curious to see how he does up here. Plott vs. Salazar 197: Glazier vs. anyone in the top 8 that isn't Brooks, honestly. 285: Kerklivet vs. Schultz Kerklivet vs. Bastida Pitzer vs. Schultz rematch
  11. Kerklivet is the surefire choice to win it. I see Yonger semi sliding the hardest out of anyone in the entire tournament that weekend.
  12. Yeah people tend to forget that Schultz is ***ducking** MASSIVE and that can be a problem for plenty of guys. Hell, I imagine Steveson felt the weight of picking him up to be overbearing after a while. That being said, I am glad this tactic has seemingly caught up to him at the tail end of his career. I have always found his run to 2nd place a few years ago to be such a head scratcher in the new age of Hwt wrestling...
  13. But who will be the Judas to the Aaron Brooks story? Hmm, I wonder now...
  14. If our success on the mat was really all determined as a part of God's bigger plan, then I really got the short end of that deal.
  15. Coming back to this comment right after he has won a B1G title is awesome. I am hoping for a very productive NCAA's from the man. His story has been nothing but fireworks all season!
  16. Dylan Shawver and Michael Cetta have both shown improvement that has been awesome to watch as a Rutgers wrestling fan. Gives some light of hope for the end of this season.
  17. Yeah, he never took WWE off of his profile. In fact, it is the first thing mentioned in his bio on Instagram. I don't follow it too much, but friends who do tell me he is not cut out for it. I'd rather just see him go into MMA and stop wasting the time time of both parties.
  18. I completely forgot that Buchanan was even wrestling this season until reading this thread.
  19. I want to give my hometown a nod and say that Dylan Shawver is my pick for 133, as I want to see the Scarlet Knights come home with at least one positive note from this tournament.
  20. The Netflix documentary on this family is gonna be sooooo mid.
  21. He had a pretty high stock, but I remember that many saw his teammate, Stefan Glasgow, as the one with a higher ceiling. He had just beaten Shane Griffith for a state title that year. Goes to show you that it's not a sprint, but a marathon.
  22. Love both - anyone got anyone older examples though? I am looking to hear about some older stories.
  23. I have seen the threads on here that discuss the highly touted athlete that flames out and underperforms tremendously throughout their college career, which, while interesting, is really a sort of negativity I am not in the mood to discuss here. Instead, I would love to hear more about those who defied the odds of their recruitment stats & achieved greatness in the sport. The less accolades, the better. And before anyone says them, I am very aware of both stories of JB and Cassar.
  24. I don't see Mr. Fast Twitch letting that fly. He will EXPOSE AND OWN the LIBERAL COLLEGE rules with FACTS AND LOGIC.
