how many 2022 world team members are from PA? greco and both women's styles...

not one of them can wrestle greco... how good a wrestling state could it really be?

lee has not done near enough internationally to even be in the discussion as greatest Iowa wrestler ever... not even close... anyone claiming such should have their hair rustled and sent out to clean up the backyard... sadly, i am not sure he will ever do enough in real wrestling to even warrant a side note... i would love to be wrong on this...

I don’t view a bow and arrow in the same category as boots and a power… I thinks boots and a power half is nothing more than a dik move… I have seen many injuries from boots and a power half… I have seen many stoppages from boots and a power half… I wince every time I see boots and a power half… still never once thought it should be illegal and damn sure never thought to make a thread to properly show my outrage… but, I see things differently… me and mine have done alright…

You have made up a scenario in your head that fits your narrative… A gave a brief synopsis of an actual real live event that happened and was topical… no real details… you then made up some stuff and now you have decided to make a stand because you clearly have you big boy pants on today… I have never seen anyone injured with this move… that is no small amount of matches… I have seen plenty lay in the mat while their corner was acting the fool after a loss… then magically they walk off after the drama… I gave reffed for about 5 years… the one time I have ever stopped the bow and arrow was when a kid applied it to an obviously beginner… had the offensive wrestler been what I would consider a high level wrestler then the joke would have been applied properly and they would have rolled around a couple of times and then next match… Instead, the offensive wrestler’s grip obviously slipped or was not good enough to begin with and the kid bent twisted away from the hold and I did not like the direction his lower half was heading so I stopped it… man’s while feeling the need to justify myself to you makes me feel a little less, there was value in it… made me think of the several times I gave physically stopped a kid from taking the bow and arrow the wrong direction… that has happened enough times I might have to take my shoes off to count… again… if properly applied no big deal and only “appears” malicious to those uninitiated… that does not mean that a position change through the normal course of wrestling could create an issue… just like every other move or physical action the human body is capable of… which is what the ref is there for… That is not to say shit does not still happen at times… perhaps a different sport would suit some of you better…

The move never becomes illegal… it can lead to injury if any number of factors occur… just like all moves…

contradictory if you have absolutely no nuance at all, which, is sadly the case more often than not... i stopped it because the "wrestler" had no idea how to react to the totally legal move and i saved him from his ignorance... kinda like this thread... the move itself was not the problem... it was the action as a result and i stopped it... just like every situation like that... there is nothing wrong with the move and it is just ignorance that makes some want it made illegal...

It’s been a minute since I actually looked, but, it used to be you just had to send a rep to continental to qualify for worlds… then on Olympic years continental are a last chance Olympic qualifier… or something along those lines…

if ferrari is available and has an inclination to go after that spot that would mean he was found innocent of all charges and is just guilty of being who he is... if that is the case then he will find a place to land at the senior level... and by biggest challenge i might mean just because we haven't seen it yet... not necessarily that he is an actual challenge but possibly the biggest domestically...

nobody should... if he isn't incarcerated he is possibly the biggest challenge to snyder through the remainder of this quad...

the bow and arrow is totally legal in free all ages... up until a couple of years ago it was illegal for only the little kids... schoolboy and down... never seen anything other than a kid acting hurt because he just lost... that is not to say it is not uncomfortable... last year i stopped a bow and arrow in a cadet match because it was applied to a kid who had no idea how to wrestle and that poor kid turned against it and i did not want to see his knee get ripped apart... a former world team member coach and his former high level wrestling wife both jumped all over me saying how it is not illegal... why did you stop it... blah blah blah... i explained to them both i knew it was perfectly legal and their kid did nothing wrong... but the other poor kid had no clue how to wrestle and i did not want him getting hurt just because he didn't know anything... i felt the same way reading this thread...
