cautions "should" be clearly listed on the scoreboard... unless you are running the most important senior tourney in your country and decide to use scoreboards from 30+ years ago...

absolutely not... it is only the highest value of hold... i posted the damn rule straight from UWW... just read it...

no... it is not... In case of tie by points, the winner will be declared by successively considering: - the highest value of holds; - the least amount of cautions; - the last technical point(s) scored

its not that hard... you have to remember who has the highest score and what color wrist band the ref raised last as confirmed by the paddles... i seriously can not think of one match where i was "coaching" or watching that i could not remember... now, i also know i am smarter than the average bear, but, it isn't rocket science... and if a coach does have have issues then a good coach would make sure somebody who doesn't have issues is on it... with all that being said, when reffing i rarely even attempt to keep track... not my job then... but entirely different dynamic...

absolutely nothing has happened so far... which is the main issue... some of the people who have filed the safe sport have not even been contacted... it really is a gross dereliction of duty...

the levels of pettiness that goes on is absolutely ridiculous... i keep being told it is not malevolent and is instead pure incompetence... it just seems hard to believe at this point...

it needs to be known... this type of behavior needs to stop... USAW needs to hold itself accountable and all of its members...

on the sneak tip for sure... absolutely no exaggerated movement and you better make every attempt to go off to one side... almost saw a ref get killed recently because he called a guy for it and the coach was not happy... the same ref that was giving that same coach the side eye the night before during an OEP...

he has been dealing with this for 8 months... and how the entire event played out results wise... i spoke with him personally during the initial bomb that being dropped... he was definitely feeling it...

i would just ask that everyone that was around for the original thread give the instigator a little bit of a break for how it all played out... i personally would not have went about it in quite the same manner, but, when you are pushed to the edge these things happen... add in his offspring being involved... add in how long he has been involved in this sport and at what levels he has been involved... let all just have a bit of compassion and empathy...

athletes not being allowed to practice at RTCs for speaking up... bullying types of behaviors... stuff like that... i am sure there is more stuff i am not aware of... this is the way it goes...

you tell me... but... i do not really think so specifically... with that being said, the community is so small that all of them have ties to somebody... and hardly any of them could make the same sort of financial living outside of wrestling... so... everyone is scared to speak up...

the simulation is in full effect... my second mom calls me this morning... i have not talked to her in several weeks and defintely since U20 trials... she opens up by asking if the younger boy made the team... i tell her the story... she says she was watching one of his matches on the youtubes (she would have no clue when this match took place or how it fits into the results) and she asked me if the refs were picking on the boy? it was so bad that even someone with no (real) understanding of what she was watching was like this feels wrong... again... another aspect of USAW and no accountability in the organization and (possible) retaliatory actions...

hey... i have lost my shit saying that same thing... but only domestically in my cases... and i watch my kids wrestle internationally with some regularity... never felt that way at those tourneys... to be fair... i did see one of my "adopted" kids wrestle in croatia a couple of weeks ago and a ref did not do the correct thing procedurally and the match was not allowed to play out as UWW governance intends, but... still nothing as horrible as i see at every tourney domestically...

it is similar enough on the surface... but... IMHO type of stuff... when we are dealing with high level athletes and the kind of demands needed for any real success and psychoses that are involved in these types of personalities then everything gets amplified exponentially...

as stated previously... i have no idea what the safesport reporting centered around in any of the ones against the coach... all i know is that one of them was not physical in nature... but... when a coach is having a sexual relationship with their athlete it simply can not not affect the entire room... and the retaliatory tactics that have been employed during this are disgusting and explicitly stated that they will not be tolerated either... and yet... USAW does nothing... what else are they not doing? who else would want to come forward with any other shenanigans knowing that USAW will not uphold there own guidelines? this is the major problem as i see it...

people are tired of what is going on in this country... it really feels like the tide is starting to shift back to some sort of decency...
