Millard is a 157 would struggle to win a match as a starting big ten 165 and Wester is worse than Millard. They’ll both redshirt. Need a transfer at both spots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If he hits the portal, I hope he was good buddies with Trent Hillger and Taylor LaMont and follows them over the border west. Gophs need a 165 bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is a neat statistic, but I would’ve traded this for just five qualifiers if all five actually did anything. Disappointing season for the gophers for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brayton Lee, Troy Spratley, Aaron Nagao, and Tagen Jamison all qualified for NCAA’s this year for different teams after being on MN last year. I believe that’s what they were talking about. Cael Carlson was the other one who narrowly missed qualifying for Oklahoma. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A lot of kids, athletes or not, go to different schools for their undergrad than they do for their grad degree. My brother did his undergrad at NDSU and is getting his graduate at Rutgers. It’s very common and sometimes even encouraged to get different experiences. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wasn’t Olejnik a grad transfer? I look at those guys in a different light. It’s possible that NIU doesn’t even have a grad program in his degree. There’s a lot of factors that could come in to play there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wonder if Clayton Whiting from Missouri doesn’t hit the portal. Lost his 184 spot to Hawks and O’Toole is bumping to 174. Whiting was a highly ranked recruit out of Wisconsin AWA guy with some nice wins in his first two years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gus, unrelated question for you as an SDSU guy, do you know if DeVos and Jordan are planning to return for another year? If so, SDSU will be salty again next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can you even transfer out of a service academy? Aren’t there certain commitments that come with attending one of those? Or am I imagining that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I feel like half the field at 157 has been around way too long. How long have we been watching Lewan, Robb, Lee, Blockhus, Franek, Teemer, Mauller, and Saldate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There is one school that can pull 4 or 5 top 15 recruits a year. Everyone knows that. Oklahoma state can maybe come close. Eggum hired Brandvold and told him he gets three less than 50% scholarships, go find some guys under the radar and out of our comfort zone. He ended up with Nagao, Sparks, and Salazar. Brandvold has been off and running with recruiting ever since, getting several top recruits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The way I see it… 1 Keck 2 Salazar 3 Plott 4 Munoz 5 Truax 6 Pinto 7 Stewart 8 Wolf 9 Berge That also might just be my bias showing on how I’d like it to play out, I think Salazars best chances of making the semifinals are avoiding a rematch with Pinto or Truax. And I don’t think Pinto beats Plott. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
