    At best he's a neutral-colored horse. KOT has beaten Amine 5-3 and 6-0 which up until last night was as much as anybody could do against him. What MM did to him showed that he's on another level. It's even crazier when you consider that it wasn't really as close as the 12-1 scoreline made it out to be, if Rivera called it correctly MM would have stalled him out.

    I wonder about coaching when guys wait until there are less than 30 seconds left before attacking. You know guys are going to stall and if you wait that long you let them get away with it.

    If he takes over it will kill the sport. Every opponent of an Iowa wrestler will be expected to forfeit out of respect to his greatness.

    If AJ is upset about anything it would be that somebody thinks he's hispanic. I'm sure he hates Latinos as much as the Iowa fans.

    What is it about him that makes you think somebody should give him weapons and training on how to kill? He needs to be shipped to a Buddhist temple and left there.

    I don't get the correlation between not drinking at all and being successful. RBY did an interview where he talked about being in the bars and he had plenty of success. As long as you don't overdo it and pick your spots it shouldn't be a problem. A few beers over Thanksgiving or Christmas break or even between the conference tournament and nationals to unwind isn't going to hurt anybody.

    They might actually have a worse chance with the Ferraris. I feel like Glazier could avoid being pinned by Brooks but there's about a 95% chance AJ gets DQd and Anthony ain't beating Kasak either way.

    I don't think there's another program in the country that would put up with that kind of garbage. But when your coach is out there calling another coach a "puss" you're gonna have guys like that on the team.

    It's hard to believe that Iowa could put together a tournament and not have it turn into a clown show. Last year you had Spencer crying about not getting a forfeit and this year it's a couple crybaby carpetbaggers.

    I said "christians" w/ a small "c". I consider myself a Christian and believe in Christian ideals, we have another group in America that uses the term "christian" but has very little to do with what the Bible teaches. They don't "love thy neighbor", they want to see people of color suffer. So yes, small "c" christians tend to be racist.

    Looks like Stanford v Va Tech is the big matchup unless I'm missing something. Sloan v Allred should be good too (assuming it's not duck season)

    Bartlett wins plenty of matches w/o taking risks. I don't think it's the most fun style to watch but you can't argue with the results. Even in his match against Cornella he was never at risk of losing, he's very similar to the way RBY used to wrestle Desanto. If RBY would have got into a shooting match he still would have won 80% of the time but if he was careful Desanto had no chance. It's like if Floyd Mayweather Jr wrestled.

    It's too risky. Look at a guy like Bo Nickal, he probably would have been an undefeated 4x champ if he didn't try crazy throws a few times. IMO the only reason to go big like that is if you're a big underdog and are guaranteed to lose anyway.

    I heard people saying 141 was possibly bonus territory for Iowa and they were lucky to win and now Voinovich decided not to take a committed shot at 149? This isn't going to be close.

    Howard actually looked good in his first match but struggled in the next two. I'm not sure if it was because he's not good enough or because he hasn't competed in over a year and his conditioning isn't there to wrestle multiple matches in one day. It just doesn't make sense. He was a blue-chip recruit who was a beast in HS so he shouldn't have lost to those guys unless there is something going on.
