  1. Jacob Warner: Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls."
  2. Great music for my nightly post-practice run in college. My yellow walkman was sweet. I would alternate between Iron Butterfly, Tom Petty's "Full Moon Fever," Motley Crue's Greatest Hits, Elvis' "Aloha from Hawaii," and LL Cool J.
  3. True. Except Michael Myers wouldn't be content to win by decision over Nelson Brands or Rocco Welsh.
  4. This is based on what I saw last week (and tbh most of the season). In all honesty, I think Iowa has wrestled well, and some of their less established guys have shown improvement, but it won't be enough. I would be happy to be wrong. 125 Ayala dec Davis 3-0 Iowa 133 Nagao dec. Schriever 3-3 141 Bartlett dec. Woods 6-3 PSU 149 Kasak dec, Rathje 9-3 PSU 157 Haines dec Franek 12-3 PSU 165 Mesenbrink dec Caliendo 15-3 PSU 174 Starocci dec. Kennedy 18-3 PSU 184 Truax maj Riggins 22-3 PSU 197 Brooks dec. Glazier 25-3 PSU 285 Kerk wbf Hill 31-3 PSU A little Carver magic could help (and prob will) help Iowa turn the tide at at least one match 133-165 and reverse my prediction. Any of the matches 174-197 could easily get uglier for Iowa if things go wrong, unless there are some lineup shenanigans. I have PSU by 28, but wouldn't be surprised if it were 22.
  5. Just speculation, I think... but not out of the realm of possibility.
  6. A lot of people are saying this. I think it comes from the Woods' matches with the largest viewership this year: a somewhat controversial stinker over Echemendia and then the blowout loss vs. Michigan. In between, he has looked very good at times including a dominant win over Hardy (his toughest regular season match last year) and Lachlan McNeil.
  7. Ummm maybe in your reality. Never happened in this corner of the multiverse.
  8. Trying not to get locked up on some specious charges?
  9. Unlike posting, I have good judgement when officiating. However, sometimes I get a bit too close to the action in both.
  10. True, but my understanding was that UWW did not have it on the schedule anyway in 2020? (I wouldn't mind confirmation on this one way or another.) Even if it wasn't on the schedule 3/13/20, it could have been added at a later date.
  11. Is that even a thing anymore? When was the last time they did that? 2016?
  12. Tyson was one of the quickest heavyweights in modern history. It helped him generate power.
  13. If the Glazier incident is any indication of Ferrari's striking accuracy, Herb Dean may need to work on his head movement.
  14. Lol, if you listen to his show, it is name drop after name drop. Some great content, but very important to Basch to let us know how tight he is with his "guys."
  15. If the submitted pan am lineup was a "placeholder," why not go with the reigning world team member? p.s. I'm not sure if anyone knew this, but both Yianni and Nick Lee are Basch's "guys."
  16. Rich Tavoso, former Princeton wrestler and "Wall Street Legend" was a history major.
  17. Good point. I am pretty sure Cael and company know exactly how it works and are willing to accept any and all ramifications with zero complaining. They understand the system. They understand (for the most part) the needs of their guys. They make judgements on what exactly they can do under the system. It is the fans who whine.
