  1. I wrestled in college. Ended up being okay at it I guess.
  2. It was an honest assessment, not sneaky. I think they have the same peak performance capabilities, but styles make matches. I think (a healthy) Kharchla beats Lewis and a healthy Lewis does not lose to Welsh.
  3. You need to look at their X (Twitter) feed. They keep putting that THE in front of ER'RYTHANG!
  4. I never said Kharch would lose.
  5. Flo's preview isn't so bad. No real insights as to who will start or mentions of possible injuries, but not so bad... https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/11421118-2023-virginia-tech-vs-ohio-state-wrestling-dual-preview-prediction
  6. We already have somewhat of a discussion going on about this over in tOSU Club portion:
  7. Also Mirzo, the transfer folks were hoping would be down at 157 beat teammate true frosh AJ Heeg at the Broncho Open this last weekend... at 174.
  8. No mention of Alvarez in this article from Flo: https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/11421866-vets-new-names-hoping-to-spur-oklahoma-state-bounce-back-cowboy-insider Alvarez is listed at 141 on the 'official' OSU roster list: https://okstate.com/sports/wrestling/roster/2023-24
  9. I think you're right. Which means he is wrestling for Bronze against Aliyev (AZE). Not a gimme. A loss there puts him up against Amouzad (IRA) for the Oly wrestle-off. Not a gimme. One thing that Rivera gets right, as well as Amine mind you, is that they are so fundamentally solid. They don't overreach and get themselves out of position too often. It doesn't surprise me that Rivera made his run with the opponents he had along the way. Lee extends himself quite often because he doesn't like to let off the gas tank - at all.
  10. Something simple they could (should) do for those matches is do a non-live commentary afterwards. I would think that they wouldn't have an unmanageable load to do come Monday morning and two or three of them could get through them within an hour (or two). Not every one of them, mind you - just the ones that are going to get the most clicks, which I am sure they have the data for by Monday anyways (providing it was a Saturday tournament). Edit: Also, I got that as well with what Spey was saying. It was short-sighted of me to not get that to begin with and just get frustrated. That said... like I said... Thiccc really fckn came in and snuck him there for the KO.
  11. Yeah Thiccc bust out the check and mate there all at once.
  12. Their 'Michigan Insider' isn't very good. https://www.flowrestling.org/articles/11416884-michigan-wrestling-loaded-with-depth-and-talent-wolverines-insider I felt it a requirement to offer my services.
  13. I really had no other way to describe him.
  14. You're allowed an opinion, I will give you that. Your also allowed to know that your opinion is wrong. You're welcome.
  15. I'll bite here, just because I don't want people to be more stupid after reading this stupid OP. Him coming in allows Joles to go 197 which in turn also ensures that both Max McNelly and Gavin Nelson both get to redshirt this season. Then both of them can run four years with Hopke as a 8-9-10 punch (Hopke to not redshirt).
  16. The only thing debatable would be the severity of your truth.
  17. My apologies. I don't intend to disrespect you. I imagine it happens again and I hope you can take this preemptive apology as a sign that I apologize for that as well. You're welcome.
  18. lol The year Max Dean won NCAAs at 197, Evan Wick took 3rd at 165. That's funny.
  19. 1 - Mark Hall 2 - Trent Hidlay 3 - Alex Dieringer 4 - Max Dean 5 - Evan Wick 6 - Taylor Lujan 7 - Michael O'Malley 8 - Mike Labriola 9 - Owen Webster Is that... accurate? Not sure Dean has any seeding criteria at this point. He may very well get drawn in?
