  1. There are a few neanderthals on HR that might think that but to state that (all/most) Iowa fans are convinced of a Lee pin is a mischaracterization of the fan base. Hawk fans have a lot of respect for RBY's skill. We would simply like to see a little less dancing and a little more scoring
  2. Then he should cut. Or, if he's gunning for a challenge, why not bump up to face Real?
  3. Yeah, if either Rathjen or Schriever wrestle at this thing, I am throwing a riot
  4. Nah. He doesnt get much bonus and has little top game. He might score bonus points against Princeton and Binghamptom but I would be surprised to see him major either Xapf or Xassi
  5. Quick pin call but Assad shouldn't be giving up 6 points to someone with a 5-9 record or whatever Sheesh what a dual. Definitely raised the blood pressure a bit
  6. He does have a win over Courtney (as well as Kaylor and Dean Peterson x2, but I don't think these are top 15 guys). I hear your overall point though. He probably doesn't deserve a #2 seed if he misses a bunch of matches at 125, but, assuming that's his weight for conferences, he is very likely going to be the only other undefeated 125er so I'm not sure who could be seeded above him.
  7. Did he weigh in light? As to your question, even if he splits time between 125 and 133 until conferences, he's likely to go undefeated so who would you seed ahead of him?
  8. So this is what the coaching staff meant when they talked about a "modified" weigh-in schedule
  9. Amine had a lethargic match against Berge last year after returning from a layoff. Similar performance tonight. Good match from Facundo, still.
  10. Did he weigh in light? Wrestling Rini right now
  11. In other news, just because I know this thread is getting the most attention right now, Pat Glory just made his 133 debut
  12. I have been staying off of the Levi Haines hype train and although I'm not ready to buy a ticket, I am ready to buy into him as an AA contender
  13. So let's just settle for crappy wrestling? I like RBY. I'm not trying to hate on him just for the sake of hating. I think he can, and should, be taking down Ragusin multiple times. This is the time of year where PSU historically looks like they're training through so perhaps I should give the boys in blue some more slack
  14. Who gives a crap about riding time? We talking about riding time right now, really? RBY scored 0 points in the third period. And that's the whole point, he is capable of so much more
  15. 4-2 passes for domination these days? No wonder Tsirtsis was a multi time Hodge winner
  16. Bruv, have you been watching Pinto?!?! He is the next destroyer of worlds! But in all seriousness, I concur with your picks. Hardy is a great test for Woods. I hope he's healthy and ready to go
  17. Lee could wrestle all of his remaining matches (ie, no ducking) and end each one with a 1st period fall and Id still put him behind Kyle. Not Lee's fault, beating David Taylor and winning 4 titles across 4 different weights is simply too big of an advantage in Dake's favor for Lee to overcome. Now, If Covid had never happened and had Lee wrestled last year - beating some combo of Vito, Suriano, and Glory in the process then maybe we could have entertained this discussion
  18. I'm probably a little bit biased but I think Spencer Lee has better offense than ADS or Fix, and if anyone finishes a takedown on RBY, it will be Lee. But I don't like the match up at 133. We've seen what happens when someone undersized bumps up (who was that defending champ that Terry Brands destroyed that one year?). Not confident Lee's super strength is enough to counter RBY's speed, size, and conditioning advantage so RBY has to be considered the favorite by any objective standard. I'll take Lee at 57kg though
  19. Foley looks worse than he did 2 years ago. Still very quick, but looked sloppy and a little lost in some of those scrambles
