Yeah I got you @Idaho. I’m not sure if @H82Losewas even talking about the traditional Power 5 though which isn’t really relevant to wrestling? Maybe was trying to designate the “Power 5” as being the top 5 wrestling schools or something?

“IMO.” But it’s his alma mater and one of the most storied programs in wrestling. He’s doing a good job at Oregon State, but I THINK he could do even better at OSU Also, it’s easy for Pendleton to put an end to the speculation now, the job’s not actually open. And tons of coaches in all sports deny interest in other jobs only to take it a couple weeks later

Ah true -
Why would you be so confident in this? OkSU is definitely a better job than OrSU IMO. I’m not so sure that’s the case with Pop and NC State though…

I was originally thinking he un-enrolled like the Ivy guys do (isn’t that still called a grayshirt?), but seems like he did actually get three medical years. I was going off the graphic which seemed to only indicate 2 medical years. I dunno, chalk me up as not being all that concerned about this? I’m assuming the “missed season” in 2019 was a grayshirt? So basically he redshirted, grayshirted, had a free Covid year and got 2 medical redshirt years. -

I would actually probably agree with that statement. I don’t think you should expect coaches to basically tell kids how to transfer. I still think we don’t really have all the information here though. I also understand the possible POV from Wisconsin that they would have had to certify that Burwick “didn’t have an opportunity to participate.” But their statement they made still seems a little shady.

I have to agree in part with Jimmy here. Lee probably wins even if he doesn’t wrestle until B10’s. But I think he needs a good bonus rate at B10’s and NCAA’s, not what we saw against ISU. However, I highly doubt Yianni wins unless no one is undefeated.
