  1. Hey., I may have crawled from under a rock... ...but why is everybody throwing shade on Chertow? (Enquiring minds want to know!) D3
  2. "Mommeee... make that mean man stop looking at me like that!" (It's freakin' creeping me out. ) D3
  3. Why bother? It was reported that one of his aides wrote down 6'3" 215lbs... on the paperwork. Does that Orange Julius look like a NFL wide receiver to you?!? ( I didn't think so.) D3
  4. (PSA) Be afraid... be very afraid, if that EVER happens, AGAIN! (C'mon, man... you can pick someone better than that!) D3
  5. So, is the Orange Immenseness due for his weigh-in today? I'm thinking he's closer to 300lbs than 200lbs... unless he's fasting like a fiend so he can tip the scales at 249.9! (Lay off those Quarter Pounders w/Cheese and for godsakes keep away from those Taco Salad Grande's.) D3
  6. It was too late for you... to put up the "2" You have but 15 minutes of "fame"... to edit that frame. Before THE final change ... that will lay down the blame. Because you were too slow ... now you'll have to let that go. (Ho, ho! ) D3
  7. ... and we're all still here, alive and well! (It's a miracle!) D3
  8. While they were there... Agree, though, that the dual was a substitute-fest. (Match-ups that were anticipated never quite came into fruition. ) D3
  9. I went ahead and re-watched Elor's matches in this tournament... I'm quite impressed with her (and at a young age as well.) And I took up denger's observation of Elor's immobilizing her opponents right wrist. Sure enough... (also, I'm sure she would do it on the left side as well.) The future IS bright for her... her future IS NOW! D3
  10. OMG... the Dan is on the loose?!? (Batten down the hatches!) D3
  11. What the hey! They can't get on the team via Russian nationals, so the spin the Wheel of New Countries to Wrestle For and try their luck elsewhere. D3
  12. Ahhh, curse my memory from yesterday. Re-watched that finals match @ 61Kg... Akamadudinov got his last points via a challenge (that he won.) Didn't help much since he was spent anyway. D3
  13. I watched that match after Bouzakis won his bronze medal match... it definitely looked like Akhmadudinov took a page out of Musakaev's (Hungary by way of Russia) playbook on getting an extended lung time-out at every turn. The first period was all the Russian's until he started his antics toward the end of the period. I just said that was what Mohit needed to see. The Indian pushed the pace in the 2nd. (Even surviving a last gasp 2pts by the Russian in the last 15 seconds... he didn't have the gas to even try a turn in the end. Mohit nabbed the gold.) D3
  14. Most Iranians like the juice, especially from the fridge variety: "Hey, you like the juice, eh? The juice is good, yes?" D3
  15. Oh, I think I know the answer... Sort-of like what may happen if Borat wasn't successful in getting people to watch his movie: D3
  16. Side note for those who want their funny bone tickled... the Iranian 97Kg who just won the gold over the Ukrainian, his name is BABALOO... (I'm not making this up!) D3
  17. Given the turnover rate of the bouts... one would think that this would be a lesson in pacing oneself as the tournament progresses. D3
  18. You may say that in the end... Mohit hit mo. D3
  19. Indictment numba four-a... https://www.aol.com/news/georgia-grand-jury-returns-indictments-013806333.html ... Felonious Buck. D3
  20. Never mind that the late great Lou Gehrig said it in his farewell speech on July 4th 1939... that 30 for 30 special about Bill Walton was very good. Plus, Bill being a honorary member and avid Deadhead can't be all bad, eh? (I liked it alot especially when he and a bunch of his Celtics teammates were invited to lounge on sofas & easy chairs while watching the Dead on stage. Robert Parrish said himself that even he got into the festivities!) Oh, yeah! D3
