  1. Dake is clearly the fav. It may not be fun but you know he has figured out Kadi, he doesn't lose often but you know where he does, he studies like a mad-man. That said. He does tend to have close matches with certain guys, and seeing as the weight is deeper with talent than Dake's previous golds at 74kg, I am most excited by this weight. If it was a life or death gamble, obviously give me Dake. If its just for fun gimme Chamizo. I can see Kadi beating Dake and, my 1B to Dake is TSalk. If Sidakov shows up, I hope its Dake vs Sidakov round 1, just for dramatic purposes.
  2. Snyder vs Saduleav with Iran trying to play spoiler, tale as old as time
  3. I didn't scroll back to the previous pages but who were you taking before. He's the man!
  4. Forgot the forums existed anymore . Higuchi Wins. Aman Upsets somebody Either Abakarov or Uguev don't medal. One of them will get upset by a random, or maybe they'll wrestle for Bronze, but I'm leaning no medal for the Russian. Uguev has close bouts in whatever he does, I just feel like all the uncertainty doesn't do him any favors
  5. Had literally no reason to click on this thread, but glad I did.
  6. Glad to see Stilly doing well, great tournament
  7. Enjoyed this conversation. Hopefully we take some radical action to improve our results... But I can't see how it's possible without big changes at the youth level .
  8. Oh for sure, I'm always going to hope he (Cox) pulls it out, but when speaking of expected outcomes.... gotta give Snyderman the nod. Everyone has something, an injury, a family death, a relationship gone sour, but since 2015 or so.... Snyderman hasn't let any of them trip him up. Captain Consistency
  9. I would assume Rutgers, watching the older 2 still training like madmen, I would think some school is going to get all 3, and it's going to be fairly neat. Annoying as all get out for a year or 2, but neat. (and obviously its going to have to be a school that doesn't have the strictest of coaching/standards) Cause the Oldest is a handful, apparently the middle is even more of a handful, and the youngest seems like the most "Normal" I can't see the dynamic blending with an Iowa... and you lose one, you lose all 3.... I'm fairly convinced it'll be Rutgers (with absolutely 0 inside knowledge)
  10. Yeah I think he's our best guy overall, not sure he'll medal, I think he will be more like Yainni or Zain (expectation wise) finals or DNP neither is much of a surprise
  11. He's still a kid, but I watch him every time out... (The Hair is mesmerizing) kid has the clutch gene. Would like to see him battle Amine, but beating Amine doesn't mean much, unless you go try to represent Panama at the next WC.
  12. Hey, I was finally able to log back in, but yeah as @mspartsaid, Snyder basically only loses to Tank (and it's been this way for quiet sometime). We all WANT to believe that Cox has some special abilities (myself included), but he loses-to or squeaks by guys we'd all expect Captain America to get out of there in a hurry. (obviously style plays into that) The size, the consistency, the results.... I don't think my man JC dethrones him, 92kg world medal does seem more productive, but I get trying to grow into the weight, because size does matter.
  13. That's fair but I mean, we've never taken advantage of opportunities to compete, we've mostly avoided ranking series events (as a country) but then complain when our athletes that don't compete arent seeded well. I too would like to see our top guys compete every chance they get but the reality is they try to win when it's most beneficial to them and the fun events we get in between are just icing on the cake
  14. I thought it was 1 full year removed but I bet you're right and I just learned something... Thanks for the education!!!!!!
  15. Depending on how close your hotel is to the arena. It's littered with "walking distance" good times. Eats, drinks, etc. I mean it's a little big city so it's not far to anything your heart desires. But also not really overwhelming with unique "fun". If you're a history buff and into racial massacres or oil/gas based things you might go explore but as far as pubs and cigar bars and delicious eats. You'll be in a solid area.
  16. If they don't find an athletic solution, it'll be interesting to see if any champions change countries
  17. I was wondering about 2024!!!!! You don't think it'll be over by then? II figured they'd miss one more worlds but some sort of resolution would be made prior to the Olympics.
  18. It was a joke but for real, the persona kind of overtook the person. Talent to never lose again, but distractions
  19. So you're saying we should lessen stalling on top and find a way to penalize going out of bounds.... There is this one style....
  20. Lol also note this team is extremely solid . Missing a couple "top guys" but having their very capable backups, is splittin hairs . Spoiled little children we are .
  21. I don't know why it's nails on a chalkboard to me, but he loses up a weight by criteria at a meaningless event (for the most part ) And I saw it as "Big News" twice in 15 minutes and now I'm bothered 2-2 at 79kg to Savadkouhi in Iran Premier League finals . Use this result for literally nothing when it comes to your predictions moving forward. #HugeNews
