  1. What he could do to an apple with his hands should be enough to include him on the list.
  2. Cunningham could be very good but that is quite the projection to make from where he currently sits.
  3. He has had nice wins in Folkstyle but is a zero time AA in 2 tries. In freestyle he is a U23 world champion and made the finals of the US Olympic trials.
  4. And he is filling out to the point where he is looking like a big 97kg guy. Going down to 197 to get Trephan (who has never AA’d and lost to Bradley Hill at NCAA’s last year) in the lineup seems like a bad call. Pat Pop does have some guys pull serious weight though (for example the Hidlay bros).
  5. Makes you wonder how much his lack of folkstyle success is related to making 197. He is very good in freestyle, meaning his neutral skills are good. In folkstyle, he is definitely above average on top. So either he is terrible on bottom or the cut is far too big and he is a shell of himself.
  6. Would not be surprised in the least bit to see Mendez hold 65kg for the USA after this year through the next quad. He is legit.
  7. I believe the regular size range for inside line backers is 6-2 240lbs
  8. Is the rumor or Cass being reinstated just coming from you?
  9. Probably 1- Kerk 2- Wyatt 3- Feldman 4- Schultz 5- Bastida 6- Slav 7- Trumble 8- TGhadali
  10. Well never mind then. Voelker looks like he knows where the weight room is located on campus but he might not be as tall as I was thinking we was...
  11. I would be good with Kennedy transferring to SDSU.
  12. I never said that they were unsuccessful but rather that they had large cuts. Plenty of wrestlers with huge cuts have had success - Jordan Oliver, Alex Dierringer, the Hidlay brothers, etc come to mind.
  13. Davis, Haines, Starrocci here all huge at their weight classes and had to be pulling a ton of weight. Beau Bartlett is a good sized 141 pounder.
  14. I think the plan right now is for 157- Caliendo 165- Kennedy 174- Arnold 184- Brands All will be contingent on how the cut goes for Caliendo.
  15. A convincing win over Stemmet shows that he is at least a NQ type guy coming into the season.
  16. Voelker looked like a full sized 97kg wrestler at U23's. I am sure that he has a decent cut to get to 197.
  17. Gunderson is huge at 86kg. I would be very surprised if he could suck down to 174. They also have CJ Walrath who had a nice redshirt season with a win over Gavin Kane. I wonder if we see PK and Voelker go up a weight class and Gunderson/Walrath battle for the 184 spot? I believe that the cut for PK is significant.
  18. That is fine with me lol. Sounds like a badge of honor. He has not been the only one talking about how the portal has been "dead" this year but I guess I see it differently.
  19. He is also a young man that is growing. It is not unreasonable to assume that he is growing out of 149 as evidenced by his failure to make 154 (70kg).
  20. Has it really been abysmal? Hamiti, Hendrickson, Parco, Amine, Cardenas are all multi AA’s. Throw in guys like Cooper Flynn, McGonagle, Fish, Whiting, Askey, Endene and probably 20 other guys in forgetting and it’s been a pretty fruitful transfer portal season.
  21. If Ybarra wrestled folkstyle like he does freestyle he would be in the mix as well. He beat Julian Farber and was right there with Dom Serrano at U23’s.
  22. I’d look for Schriever at 133. Peterson had offseason surgery
