  1. Maybe the non-wrestling board should reconsider their thoughts about the border
  2. Rumor is that Musukaev has been training in Ann Arbor...
  3. Chaos reigns supreme. Told y'all it should have been Yianni.
  4. But did it hit domestically or internationally
  5. Was Wisconsin previously getting recruits at this level? If yes, what was Wisconsin doing to them that capped their growth? If no, what has changed about the Wisconsin program? Ask this in a different way... What changed? Wisconsin University or the success of Askren Wrestling Academy? Now also take in mind that Askren holds one hell of a grudge. It is what propelled him to a dominating NCAA career and becoming an Olympian. He seem like a laid back doofus that dabbles in the devil's lettuce while wasting his money on crypto while throwing bangers and getting skinny on the frisbee golf course, but you think someone at his level is actually chill? Nah. Bono is just Barry to him.
  6. What exactly do all the Bono haters expect? B1G titles? No one is competing with Gable/Iowa 2.0 in Carl/PSU. It is one of the best programs in the world. Not NCAAs. THE. FREAKIN. WORLD. Iowa is consistently a trophy-winning program that includes a recent team title Michigan and Ohio State have deeper pockets than anyone else Minnesota has a strong history and has been able to continue performing after JRob stepped down Nebraska has a strong program that pumps out the occasional world team member Right there you are hoping Wisconsin finishes top 7. Anything better is overachieving. It's not a bad thing, it's just facing reality.
  7. You almost had me there but I'm calling BS. Everyone at Purdue has a girlfriend but she lives in Canada and you wouldn't know her anyways.
  8. Thi$ i$ hi$ 5th year of $chool. $omething tell$ me i$n't $taying at Purdue for hi$ final two year$ of eligibility.
  9. 125 Blake West - Northern IL 125 Eli Griffin - Cal Baptist 149 Caleb Tyus - Southern IL
  10. Someone is paying more attention to greco than I am
  11. @ILLINIWrestlingBlog I'm out of the loop. Why is Vera at Pan Ams when Braunagel is the current world team rep?
  12. I can see it if he goes out with a win in the bronze match, but Taylor isn't wired to go out on a loss. It's the downside of being a terminator.
  13. It's not that I don't want the US to qualify at 65, but if Air Gomez takes flight then the mental gymnastics surrounding "well we really already qualified 2 Americans anyways" is going to be in full expat effect. It will be even more fun if Gomez beats Lee then loses to McNeil. I'm here for the chaos.
  14. I would ask which part but we both know it's the parents. I would rather have double hip replacement than deal with those rotten turd cutters ever again. May NHS be blessed by all the Parmesan cheese from that big Flying Spaghetti Monster in the sky.
  15. Ahhhh part of me says THANK YOU SO F'ING MUCH!! the other part says wtf were you thinking. Parents suck. I hope the kids did well, the parents kept their shit in check, and your shoulders and hips are staving off another year of replacing. Btw you owe 200 suicides and 1000 pushups for abandoning the team. Coach Carter rules sorry not sorry
  16. I was hoping someone would notice. Haven't seen @nhs67 around lately so I wonder if he is coaching up Logan ThugMassabrink
  17. Think about from an ESPN perspective: the final three matches are 1) 165 Carr goes out on top/ KOT can go for 4 and possibly stop the only 5 timer/ Messenbrink ascends as the chosen one 2) Starocci goes for #4 3) ehh 184 is a weight class for everyone to get another beer 4) Brooks goes for #4 That is high drama
  18. I am fully in support of KOT and Carr on opposite sides. It pays fan service for a huge rivalry while also allowing Messanbrenk the opportunity to Ric Flair it up. Carr and KOT deserve special treatment and the loser of Big 12 should have to face Massabrink Friday night. I just don't see it happening unless KOT wins Big 12s unfortunately.
  19. @MidwestMan is correct regarding the regression of offense from Elam. He went from a dynamic undersized underclassman with a sky high outlook boasting a junior world silver on his resume to a boring AA-type. I hope he fundamentally alters his methodology for the sake of his senior level prospects.
  20. An undefeated B1G champ is not going to be seeded lower than any other conference champ with >=1 loss. Too many mathematical factors will rule it out.
  21. In that scenario will he? Yes. Should he? That's a question that cannot be accurately answered until after NCAAs.
