Fair enough. I'll move on to browner pastures.

This board seems to be in the process of getting overrun by bitter and classless people that like to troll and otherwise complain and belittle. Less and less actual substance.
More and more attempts to insult or think they are insultingly ‘funny’ … I expect driven by some deep down insecurity.
Nah
1) This is the dark comedy tradition of this forum dating back to the old place
2) Lots of people were claiming Taylor is the best, and an Olympic gold would seal the deal. Refer back to #1 and enjoy the joke like Jesus' 13th disciple is enjoying his spot in the Olympic team.

Schultz needs to go on the Cassioppi plan and build back from a 50 pound cut. What an absolute waste of talent with his lack of discipline watching his tits flop when he was underneath. He should be the guy who breaks the drought but he can't put down the Banquet Beers.

It's going to be reaalllly awkward if he loses to Amine again. Does Taylor go on another twitter rant like he did to Cox after he lost two matches to him as well?
-
I hate correct throws and slips. All crap. You get it done or you don't so why does greco in particular give participation trophies?
At any rate, congrats to Rau on becoming another Illinois olympian. Hopefully Ellis can get it done in Turkey and join the crew.

Too much effing around with cows and smoothies.
Too many cows = too much horsing around
Should have focused on horsepower because that's exactly what Brooks brought today. He ran the gamut, got lucky with a wild thumb from Zahid, walked a mile on the dreadmill, and put it on Taylor. Pretty decent 48 hours.

But dude is about to destroy 92 at the Logan Steiber Memorial World Classic

I’m not sure how Blades will do in Paris, but her athleticism is unseen at Women’s HWT
Izzy Martinez just gave a bag of cash to Elor with a note "thanks for dropping down a weight"

Blades smells blood in the water. IL needs an Olympian this quad...

You have it all wrong. I like many of the wrestlers, just not many of their fans... as seen with what they pulled with JB last night. (In person and on multiple social media accounts)
THat being said, another poster referenced Brooks talking the PSU staff 'doing Bo dirty' in the last OTT. It only stands to reason, based on this, that Brooks may be a bit wary.
No one is more well-versed on a Judas in the starting lineup than Aaron Brooks

I'm flat out trolling with no regard for feelings when I ask in earnest: is Gilman crying because his mom snapped her glasses in half or did she do that when he lost the wrestle off before the last Olympic quad?

It's relatively simple (although stupid). All the weights that aren't qualified for the Olympics were going to have the first two matches in the morning and a third (if required) in the evening. The qualified weights only had one match in the morning. Maybe to give more advantage to the medalists?
If Carl (shadow head of USAW) wanted to give an advantage he would have made Brooks wrestle Mat 2, match #1 fresh off the scale.

I do not like this new Jimmy burner. You're better than this character. At least Juan plays a good villain.

We are about 83% done using the joke, it will have run its course soon
The original version of the joke has been going for 2024 years so this iteration can take all the time it wants

It's long been the rumor that Bo was not a fan of how Taylor's injury was handled, which may have prevented Nickal from a world team spot. That said, I think Cael.has pretty definitively shown his loyalty (as far as on the mat) is almost totally results based. Taylor may be about done, so golden boy status may be as well. This is purely from a wrestling resources perspective. I'm sure interpersonally he still cares.
@nhs67 totally says that's bunk

He's still a boner but he grew up last night finally.

I dislike Aaron Brooks so much that I'm cheering for David Taylor tonight. Now if you excuse me I need to go wash my mouth out with bleach.
