  1. At 165, would Derek Fields being 4-2 against common opponents to Mulvany's 3-3 put him in the lead for getting an at-large bid?
  2. He won in sudden victory in the semis and by a point in the finals. He scored a cumulative 3 points in regulation in those two matches. He's good, but I think his PAC 12 performance shows that he's jumbled in with the rest of the 125s.
  3. UNC seems most logical. Koll originally recruited him to Cornell, UNC has NIL money, and having his former teammate and 197 practice partner Ben Darmstadt on staff is the clincher.
  4. No allegiance to either team, but would be fun to watch this play out: 125 - Ayala maj Davis 4-0 133 - Schriever dec Nagao 7-0 (I think Nagao will have to pick top to get his best position and Schriever is showing he can come on strong in the third) 141 - Woods dec Bartlett 10-0 149 - Rathjen dec Kasak 13-0 157 - Franek dec Haines 16-0 165 - Caliendo dec Mesenbrink 19-0 174 - Starocci tf Kennedy 19-5 184 - Truax tf Riggins 19-10 197 - Brooks tf Glazier 19-15 285 - Kerk tf Keuter 19-20 CHA implodes.
  5. Coincidentally (or not), the calls in all three of his examples went in favor of the home team.
  6. I believe 125, 133, 149, and 184 are the only wieghts in question to AA. The other 6 weights, barring injury, are easy locks.
  7. I suppose you could actually peruse all 19 of my posts. I am really just poo-pooing the idea that PSU will have 10 AAs this year. I believe Minnesota's record will stand the test of time with that one.
  8. Neither will Kasak. Double pin it.
  9. My take after watching that match is that Davis will not AA and will likely be no better than 5th at the B1Gs.
  10. And his schedule doesn't let up as he gets another Poulin match tomorrow night.
  11. That's an impressive list - does pinnacle have multiple locations?
  12. Not too hard to find that he got dinged up in his last match (the internet is cool), but you can continue to believe he was trying to preserve something by not wrestling your guy.
  13. I believe Kasak didn't compete in high school last year and instead spent the majority of it in the PSU room, a grayshirt scenario of sorts. He may be a bit more seasoned than the true freshmen that entered their respective wrestling rooms this summer/fall.
  14. And the tuition hurdles: Appalachian State University's (App State) tuition and fees for the 2023–2024 academic year are $8,081 for in-state students and $25,077 for out-of-state students. For the 2023–2024 academic year, Duke University's tuition is $63,450 per academic year.
  15. This was a mental/physical test that I believe was a fail for your guy. But it's all good.
  16. Whoa. Let's not allow facts get in the way of tiger-style's hopes, dreams, and typos.
  17. tiger-style must be in the know on that Standford program. And it appears he/she is excited about the program's impending demise.
  18. No ticket costs, no parking costs, no concession costs, no gas costs. I'm fine with $9.99 for a good dual. Just need to remember to cancel the subscription...
