  1. With multiple mats going, where's the best place to watch the NCAA's so we can zero in on a specific mat?
  2. Looking forward to a great tournament and a Mizzou victory. Also, hope to see O'Toole bounce back from his loss to Carr. For those familiar with the downtown Tulsa area, any suggestions on where we can watch Bo Nickal in his next UFC fight? It's scheduled for Saturday at 9PM. Will there be a sports bar or other place to watch? We're staying in a hotel immediately next to the wrestling venue. Thanks!
  3. Very exciting dual! Great win for Mauller and Mizzou. O'Toole will be back. Can't wait to see all the great matches at Big 12 championship in just over 2 weeks. See y'all in Tulsa!
  4. I'd like to see a fantasy match between Jim Jordan and Gable Steveson! Then Jordan and Steve Mocco. Then finally Jordan vs Hulk Hogan in his prime!
  5. Couldn't agree with you more. "Coitanly" there is no such thing as watching too much Stooges!
  6. That's allot of great wrestling! Can't wait!
  7. What teams will be competing at the Scuffle besides Mizzou?
  8. Nice to see Rocky Elam (MIzzou) at the top of this weight class.
  9. If Carr is beat badly the first time vs O'toole, he may just drop to 57!
  10. Lots of great matches. I was happy to see Mizzou get two wins. Haven't seen many woman's matches in a while and was very impressed. I agree with someone else's comment, they'd have preferred a bigger crowd. Lots of easy ways to accomplish that and promote more interest in the sport (especially in Texas.) Lastly, as someone who was very frustrated with the horrible Flow broadcast of the Mizzou-Arizona State dual, this broadcast and commentary was significantly better.
  11. Well deserved! His success has been consistent; across the careers of many wrestlers, assistant coaches and even different conferences. The teams' recruiting has gotten better over the years as the success of his teams have made Mizzou a more attractive alternative. Brian Smith recruits very good wrestlers, but typically they aren't the top tier recruits that go to Penn State and other historically great programs. But,... once those recruits arrive at Mizzou, Brian Smith and his coaching staff develops them into the best wrestlers and students they can be. Mizzou fans, as well as all wrestling fans should be proud of what Brian Smith has accomplished.
  12. I read earlier today that both Hart and Rocky Elam will be in the line-up tonight. Hoping AZ State has full line-up as well.
  13. Agree. I'll also suggest that Intra-Squad meets are done for the fans, and to formally mark the beginning of each season (in addition to the data point).
  14. Projecting Mizzou wins assuming they have a full Or close to full) lineup. Rocky Elam hasn't wrestled yet. Hart was out during this past weekend's tourn. due to illness. Colton Hawks beat Sean Harmon in Saturday's tourn finals. (Do we have a new starter at 184?) Courtney dec Surtain McGee dec Brown Hart dec Vasquez Mauller dec Parco Jacques maj dec Wilner O'Toole pin Negron Mocco maj dec Valencia Montalvo dec Hawks/Harmon Elam dec Norfleet Upset! Elam dec Schultz Thoughts? Lineup differences? Other opinions?
  15. Since this is listed as an "open" tournament, will unattached wrestlers be competing? Looking forward to seeing early season competition and adding some strong backups could make the competition even more exciting! Go MIZZOU!
  16. For some reason I was thinking Sean Harmon was also missing, but I verified he wrestled yesterday and looked fine. Rocky was the main guy missing. Glad to hear he's back soon. Thx for the feedback!
  17. Yes, it's a little early to be discussing this dual, but Mizzou had their first meet yesterday and were missing a couple of starters. Arizona State will be a tough matchup for anyone. Especially if they're short handed. Anyone have any scoop about Rocky Elam, or other lineup issues? Thanks
