  1. Yeah 184 is definitely going to the tipping point.
  2. Iowa needs to stay off their backs to have a chance to win with Cass.
  3. Iowa needs to win here to have a chance.
  4. Yeah they need to capitalize on a mistake from some of the youth in the middle of the PSU to have a chance.
  5. Vespa almost had the upset of the century..my god
  6. I agree things have stagnated a bit and could use a change somewhere, but not sure if moving on from Goodale is the answer just yet They’ve definitely had a run of bad luck with injuries over the last year with Poz (AA his freshman year & redshirting this year), Turley (AA his freshman year and not even close to his former self), Janzer (2x state champ and a NQ his freshman year, and a shell of himself now), and now Boone McDermott is out Losing Kyonte Hamilton, the #1 heavyweight recruit to football after he enrolls Glasgow, Aragona, and Alvarez all flaking out. They still have a lot of young, top talent on the roster like Peterson, Oliveri, Poz, Soldano, Shawver, PJ Casale, and have done well in the portal so they can close some of the gaps especially at 157 & 165. Plus if guys like Boone and White keep developing they will be right back in the thick of it next year.
  7. how is there a double forfeit at this level?
  8. Terrible move and basically selling their souls to attempt to have a national champion even though it’s clearly dangerous in terms of his health. The staff should be better than this. It’s a sad, pathetic look.
  9. Peterson is definitely the higher upside guy, so hopefully he can win the job. Shawver is solid, so maybe he can bulk up and try to go 133 next season if Heilman doesn't come back.
  10. Looks like Glory isn't in the 133 bracket this morning, but it appears that Anthony Clark will make his debut after 2+ years of not wrestling since he graduated high school.
  11. Yeah I think it’s definitely possible for next year since Heilmann is gone so it would actually work out nicely. 125: Peterson/Shawver 133: Peterson/Shawver 141: Oliveri 149: Alvarez 157: White
  12. RU wins 17-16 on criteria despite Alvarez losing an absolutely horrendous match. Shouldn't even have been so close but they found a way to pull it out thanks to late wins by Turley, Soldano (MD), and McDermott
  13. Heilmann knocks off #10 Colaiocco 3-2
  14. Dean Peterson gets a nice 10-2 MD over Ryan Miller.
  15. I did the same. Definitely not worth the extra cost now that most of the worthwhile events are PPV. I’ll keep my B1G+ subscription for now and think about Flo as well.
  16. Not that it needed to be said but Soldano is a monster. Absolutely mauled Feldkamp 15-5. The dude is a gunslinger lol
  17. Pretty uninspiring and lethargic performance from Alvarez. Got the win but hopefully he comes into better form soon.
