  1. It’s quite funny seeing Elon complaining about illegal immigration when he himself illegally overstayed his visa
  2. The building that was struck was the consulate building adjacent to the embassy. Where has Iran come out and stated this is not a diplomatic building like you are claiming?
  3. Are you sure about that? Is there any source backing this up? A quick google search shows Syria's own Foreign Minister attending the opening of the building
  4. What does Iran call the attack on their consulate?
  5. You literally quoted the part where I asked what part of the new plan does not flow through constitutionly sound procedure? He is announcing relief because in the past you had to manually apply for the pslf loan forgiveness after following your payment plan. In the past administration, they manually denied many of these people that did actually qualify so now he is making it everyone is automatically applied for forgiveness once they meet the requirement so that the law is followed and the debt is discharged
  6. isn't getting policy passed through any avenue possible to improve their constituents life literally the job of a politician? Plus Biden is literally only taking credit for following through on programs that have existed for over 10 years before he took office, which the government was legally obligated to do since it was written into the original terms of the loans
  7. This new forgiveness plan helps people who should have had their debt discharged already according to laws signed under bush. Is anything that an official runs on that will help Americans considered buying votes? Would a president promising to lower taxes be considered buying votes and corrupt?
  8. While there are government regulations the U.S. does have a free market economy. no one is forcing these businesses to operate in California, they are free to move and cease business within the state. Just don't understand all the hysteria over making big fast food corps posting record profits pay a livable wage while there are literally exemptions carved out for the small business. If your business does not make enough money to pay people, you do not run a successful business
  9. That is the hand of the free market. If someone can not afford to employ people at a competitive rate, maybe they don't make enough to sustain that business.
  10. you brought up the perfect example, Foster Freeze is shutting down locations in California to get under the 60 locations in California to avoid the new law. There were 64 locations. With this example I am not sure how strong the case is still about small business owners suffering, maybe more so corporate greed and trying to squeeze all time high profits out of us while decreasing their costs.
  11. The law only applies to restaurants with 60 or more locations, small businesses are exempt from the new wage, how exactly were several mom and pops with 10 or less locations forced to shutter their business?
  12. Hmmm yes makes total Sense to spend years in Afghanistan when bin Laden was killed in Pakistan….
  13. I thought this whole argument was to respect American troops who died for American freedoms and rights. Now you are saying our troops died fighting for human rights so women can drive a car and not cover their faces because a man says they should. If that’s what our job was to prevent we didn’t a really bad job because That happens in Afghanistan now after we were there for years and lost many American lives. Saudi Arabia who is most responsible for 9/11 still has those norms yet you don’t care because we are allies.
  14. Ok so after Bin Ladin was killed what freedom and rights were we fighting for in Afghanistan?
  15. Ok so taliban were not in power after October 2001. Why were we there for 20 years?
  16. Ahhh yes because I am against the invasion of countries that did not commit 9/11 must mean I am 100% ok with it makes a lot of sense
  17. Taliban were not in power after 2001, how were the people in power harboring terrorists?
  18. Where did i move the goalposts from? Why should we care who is in power in Afghanistan it has no affect on any Americans freedom or rights it has not for decades, it’s arguable that we caused the conditions for the taliban to have power because it’s a forever insurgency type situation like Israel is creating in Gaza
  19. ahh yes the Saudis/ al Qaeda who orchestrated 9/11 where there were no Afghanistan nationals. After we rolled though there and the Taliban was taken out of power in 2001, what freedoms were we protecting until 2021?
  20. my father served 2 tours in iraq and have asked this to his face... he did not have an answer to my question either, I would love to ask ur brother and hear his thoughts
  21. Ok so what American rights did we fight for in Afghanistan for 2 decades and cost many lives? What American rights did we fight for in Iraq? What American rights did we fight for in Vietnam?
  22. Yes I did. We always hear about we always need to stand for anthem or respect troops because they fight and die for our freedom and rights. Was the Taliban trying to take our freedom and rights away? Was Iraq trying to take away our freedom and rights? What about Vietnam? None of these conflicts were about our troops defending our freedom or rights so I am actually asking this when was the last conflict we sent over American youth to protect peoples like me and yours everyday freedom
  23. genuine question, when was the last time one of our service members died actually fighting for our rights? And then also isn't it kind of dumb to punish a kid for exercising his rights especially since people have died for these rights?
  24. Also live in AZ and can confirm. A majority in the state does not agree with qari lakes conspiracy theories and she will suffer another defeat whether it be in the primaries against lamb or in the general against Gallegos. Arizona is starting to come around
