  1. Officials either are really good, or they aren't putting up with it. mspart
  2. Like 50% lost, or more like 90% lost their challenge? mspart
  3. At 165, #8 Olguin of ORST lost to #25 Wilson of NEB 3-1 At 184, #8 Finesilver of MICH lost to #25 Bonino of DREX 3-2 This rounds out the top 8 seeds to go down first session. I guess we'll see what happens tonight. mspart
  4. Yes, all top 4 won their first round but Ramirez. Kind of an uneventful morning session in that regard. mspart
  5. I'm giving up on this thread, there's a much better one with a better title. mspart
  6. 165 #4 Ramirez of Cornell loss to #29 Fish of MSU by a score of 8-4. All other 1-4 seeds have won up to 184 lbs. Please add what may transpire here. mspart
  7. https://nida.nih.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/marijuana-addictive Marijuana use disorders are often associated with dependence—in which a person feels withdrawal symptoms when not taking the drug. People who use marijuana frequently often report irritability, mood and sleep difficulties, decreased appetite, cravings, restlessness, and/or various forms of physical discomfort that peak within the first week after quitting and last up to 2 weeks.20,21 Marijuana dependence occurs when the brain adapts to large amounts of the drug by reducing production of and sensitivity to its own endocannabinoid neurotransmitters. https://www.cdc.gov/marijuana/health-effects/addiction.html Some people who use marijuana will develop marijuana use disorder, meaning that they are unable to stop using marijuana even though it’s causing health and social problems in their lives. One study estimated that approximately 3 in 10 people who use marijuana have marijuana use disorder.1 Another study estimated that people who use cannabis have about a 10% likelihood of becoming addicted.2 The risk of developing marijuana use disorder is greater in people who start using marijuana during youth or adolescence and who use marijuana more frequently.3 Say again? I disagree with your first two points. Agree with your last 3 points. mspart
  8. He went 61 in the Dan Kolov tourney and got creamed 11-1 by Kaise Tanabe (JPN). I think he goes back to 57. mspart
  9. That is a response but not to the question I asked you. Here it is again in case you forgot: What do you think about the folks at the UC Davis throwing eggs, used pepper spray on breaking windows, and spraying graffitti as a protest of his very presence at the university? mspart
  10. So the thread starts with evil government and Plasi plays that as a religious thing. I think BB is correct, he has little reading comprehension. mspart
  11. Plasi, Since you have not heard of him until now, what do you think about the folks at the UC Davis throwing eggs, used pepper spray on breaking windows, and spraying graffitti as a protest of his very presence at the university? I'll even provide some links so you can read all about it. From left, middle, and right wing media sources. So you can pick and choose which you prefer. But just a hint, they all report the same thing. And guess what? Police Officers were assaulted and injured as part of mostly peaceful fun!! https://www.kcra.com/article/2-arrested-building-vandalized-uc-davis-event-conservative-activist/43326784 https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/elon-musk-others-respond-after-protesters-smash-windows-hurl-eggs-at-charlie-kirk-event-on-college-campus/ar-AA18E5Bp?li=BBnbfcL https://www.foxnews.com/us/elon-musk-respond-protesters-smash-windows-hurl-eggs-charlie-kirk-event-college-campus https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/elon-musk-charlie-kirk-campus-protest-b2301722.html https://www.sacbee.com/news/local/article273154315.html mspart
  12. He knew the risks. Whether pot should or shouldn't be illegal, is not the issue. It is illegal to use. Therefore, he was not too serious about being in competition or is addicted and can't stop. Either way it is a problem. mspart
  13. 55 might be too much of a cut. But Gilman is in the room and maybe he thinks he has a chance. I would guess not. 61 this is more than likely. Going against Seth or Daton would be more up his alley. That would be quite interesting. mspart
  14. Accountability - Something the left hates except when applied to the right. mspart
  15. It's a good tactic except it is for juveniles. This is not how adults handle things. It is crazy that Law students at Stanford just can't stand to listen to an opinion that doesn't meet with theirs. How can these people become good law people if they cannot see the other side or even just listen to the other side? It is just too dangerous because they are out of their safe space. Coddling these ingrates really needs to stop. And the Head of DEI justified them in front of them and did all but cradle them in her arms. mspart
  16. Yikes! Only one more day until the big dance starts!!! mspart
  17. So did he lose his Bronze or not? I didn't know Chamizo lived in NY. That's interesting. Quite different than what he experienced in Cuba I would say. mspart
  18. Good thing the Capitol wasn't firebombed during this extremely serious insurrection like the CHAZ/CHOP zone did to the police station there. Not only that, another police station was firebombed with people inside and those mostly peaceful protesting insurrectionists tried to bar the door closed so no one could get out. That's attempted murder. But all that is ok, because that pales in comparison to Jan 6 where there was no attempted murder, no firebombings? Again, if Jan 6 was an insurrection, where was their armed military staff? Where was the firebombing? Where was the attempted and accomplished murder? (note: all deaths but one were of natural causes, stroke, heart attack etc) Where were the weapons of this unholy mob of insurrectionists? Where was the attempt to seize power? Where were the hostages? Where were the demands? And last but certainly not least, why was there a 2 hour time limit on the insurrection? After 2 hours, Capitol Police said time to go home and they all left. Now that was one heck of a serious unmitigated horrendous and extremely dangerous insurrection. You guys are stretching this to say it was a full fledged insurrection. There are examples of such if you care to look at them. If laws were broken, those that did so should be punished. But properly so, not by withholding evidence of an exculpatory nature. DOJ is again embarrassed by their lack of following the rules of a legal court proceeding. mspart
  19. Based on the latest videos, I think you would be hard pressed to call them all insurrectionists. There may have been a few with that motivation but based on what I have seen, most did not. Do insurrectionists wield phone cameras as their weapon of choice? Do insurrectionists destroy the building or keep it in general state of repair? Do insurrectionists give up after 2 hours when told to go home? Do insurrectionists plan an insurrection without the benefit of weapon of any kind? I think you would be hard pressed to say that as a truth these were all insurrectionists. mspart
  20. Biden giveth and Biden taketh away. I'm happy that he giveth but like the article said, likely the opened Willow area will be subject to numerous lawsuits. mspart
  21. Scourge, Thank you for providing the link. I wonder why I hadn't heard of this? This did not make general news here did it? I don't remember any of this. Those from Azerbaijan that did this are monsters and need to be inflicted with international law or national law. I did not see that these guys are heroes for this, but that does not speak well of the country in general. Blood thirsty animals. mspart
  22. Austin DeSanto was on the Honor Roll. Not saying what field of study that was!! mspart
