    It's a combo of a lot of things. Kerk had a first place vote at HVWT after losing to Parris. It's coaches recycling their rankings, not paying attention, and why should they when they already have enough on their plate during the season. The NCAA should move to create a panel of voters who have the time to pay attention to all the matches across all conferences.

    What we know so far is 2 coaches left RBY out of the rankings completely. One coach ranked Kerk #1, 11 had him at #2, and 2 other coaches didn't have him on the ballot 12 coaches had Yianni #1 while two left him off their ballot.
