I know the wrestlers haven't gotten to the podium yet but kudos to @Husker_Dufor having Pinto on his radar. I'm also liking my Saldate pick. Lots a great early season picks fellas
enjoy Cinnabon's Threads like
"Why Spencer Lee is not the favorite..."
"Why PSU will finish 3rd..."
"Who is the Best wrestler on this forum..."
"Would Spencer Lee beat Gable Steveson"
"How Many Bites does it take to the Center of a Cinnabon?"
I'm a PSU guy and outside of" my team" my favorites are Yianni and Labriola. There is bias for both. Have family that wrestled for Cornell and Labriola is from my neck of the woods. But even without those two Spencer still isn't one of my favorites. There are other wrestlers I just so happen to have a liking to. Even back in Cael's era my two favorites were Abas and Greg Jones. Doesn't mean I didn't acknowledge Cael's greatness
lol, Aaron Brooks is the Kyle Dake of PSU wrestling. Keep betting against him fellas. I'll bet anyone going against Brooks at NCAA's.
Why this match should be hitting 2nd in the lineup.
Earlier you used a freestyle match that was the furthest thing from a stall fest as a comparison of what would happen today and then claim the match would be a stall fest? Get it together LJB
Just curious. If PSU pulls a lot of there starters to let some of the practice partners wrestle is the boards going to scream "duck" or will it applaud Cael for allowing more competitive matches?
I spend 8 months out the year making fun of the old lady for how much time and energy she wastes reading OK magazine and caring so much about celebrity relationships. The other 4 months I totally understand her.
I'd slightly favor Fix. Scoreless 1st period and then he'd grind Spencer Lee down at the end. But, I'm sure the Spencer fans will say he'd win by major decision.
Yes, lost to I believe Gillespie in the quarters then got knocked out in his next match to Pami. Exacted sweet revenge by defeating Pami the following year in the Finals
for a sec I was thinking 2009 157 (Gillespie, Leen , & Burroughs) but then remembered it was Burrough's first title. Poeta was in that weight class too.
