I wrote a longer response, but deleted it to be more succinct: Zalesky took over from Gable and his record setting team. Brands took over from Zalesky and his consecutive 5th and 8th place finishes with no individual champs in two years.

I'm not arguing that Brands brothers are better than Cael & Co. That ship has sailed, unfortunately.

This is just false. I was in the building. The team was very happy. Brands took over for Jim Zalesky. There was no dynasty ongoing. He reawakening a sleeping giant.

Man, Nelson Brands and Warner really stepped up in this tournament. Brands beat the 9, the 7, the 6, and the 5. Warner beat the 10, the 8, the 6, and the 4. Murin wrestled really well also. Appreciate the guys effort, even if I haven't always been a believer.

Lol. The same people reveling in his loss, mocking him and his mother? He owes us giving 100% of what he had, which he did more than almost anybody every match. He ended up coming up short in an unprecedented way, and people are going to lecture him on how they would handle it. Priceless.

They didn't call him out. People are rearing what they want into the same type.of language they use every year. And you have no idea why he's not wrestling. There are numerous posts today complaining about Iowa not caring about his health, but if he's not wrestling due to injury now, he/ they should also be blamed? Can't win with people who are bad faith actors.

They do something like this every year for this session. It just feels directed that way because of Spencer MED FFTing. They are just selling the importance of their broadcast.

He was much more offensively challenged than I expected, but credit where it's due, the matches I've seen at the tournament, he's looked great.

These seem like Soencer decisions. It seems highly possible he didn't want to do another year of school if he could avoid it, but he was too injured after giving it a go.

Another obvious loophole in the rules. It should be one escape when top loses control, and a continuation point if the reversal is completed. -
