It’s quite interesting that USADA or WADA didn’t inform USAW or the NCAA. Also, they tend to announce these things. “Joe Smith returned an AAF for weed at the Half Pipe World Championships at Telluride. The case has been referred to the International Snowboarding Bro Federation.” If they returned an AAF, AB would be suspended and not eligible to compete until resolved. So, either no AAF was returned or the situation was resolved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why would DT be made aware of it? Brooks hasn't been provisionally suspended by UWW, nor has WADA or USADA made any announcement, at all.

I think Barr can be a low AA a couple of times but I think he (and Facundo) might find find himself replaced if he can’t find his offense, and soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Correct. Assuming he hasn’t messed himself up physically in pre-WWE, he could very well come back and make multiple Olympic teams. Maybe this will light a fire under his ass and he’ll light up Zare/Massoumi in 2028 for, and in front of, the good ol’ US of A. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The KOT who lost to David Carr gets wrecked by a healthy Starocci at 174.

197: Ferrari vs Starocci - Battle of the Italian Stallions
Le duke replied to Jimmy Cinnabon's topic in College Wrestling
Unfortunately for Iowa, the youngest is still planning to go to Iowa and his family appears to be moving there with him. To include AJ and Fredo. So, like a shadow, he's always going to be there. AJ will jump at any opportunity to be relevant, in anything. If Beth Goetz moves to another school to be their AD, gets fired, or leaves for any other reason, Tom Brands will do his best to bring AJ in. He's desperate. He can't coach his way to beating Penn State, and there are only so many athletes they can buy, so this is the next best thing. -
Again? From Purdue to Oklahoma to...where next?

Iowa's transfer-laden team CAN beat Penn State

I know Ayala is a returning finalist but I'm not sold on him being a favorite over Lilledahl. -
One additional thing: Parental involvement. Parents who are interested and invested in their children, and their educational outcomes (in a good way; not the parents who are worried about their kids' volunteer hours at the age of 9 so they can get into Stanford) generally have kids who function at a higher level. Had lunch with my coworker and his wife recently. She's an elementary school teacher (2nd grade, I think) and the kids whose parents just turn on cartoons or hand them video games are the ones who ruin it for everyone. They can't concentrate, they are way behind and they require extra attention. Their parents don't read to them, and they don't get practice reading, and it shows.

We teach math, too. Problem is, a lot of countries have caught up and in some cases, surpassed us. Many countries outspend us relative to their cost of living, their educators are paid much better and held in much higher regard, and their schools (K-12 equivalents, universities, trade schools) are funded at a much, much higher level. Most of the best performing countries spend more than we do, and shockingly, this corresponds to better results. Additionally, while the literacy rate in the US has more or less remained the same, the literacy rates in many developing countries has exploded. Japan and Korea, for example, have eliminated their gender parity in literacy, and gone from feudal states to highly advanced countries. We have lower literacy scores than Australia, Canada and Japan, are on roughly equal footing to the UK, and better than Italy, France, and Poland. Most of the countries with functioning governments realized a long time ago that a literate society means a prosperous society.

You realize this team likely goes like 1-9 or 2-8 against Penn State, right? Depends on what weight Starocci goes and what MM (157 or 165) and Haines (RS?) do but that lineup isn't even close to winning a title.

Yeah. Cool as a 17 year old. He's soon to be a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Kind of lame.

Good question. He’s super young (still U20 eligible) and could use the year to get healthy again. He hurt his knee at Black Knight and didn’t really look right until February. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Revised Penn State: 125: Lilledahl 133: Nagao 141: BB 149: SVN or Kasak 157: Mesenbrink or SVN or Kasak or Sealey 165: Mesenbrink or Haines 174: Facundo 184: Carter or Barr 197: Carter or Barr 285: Kerk That’s a monster team. I think Sealey takes a shirt. He’s getting more technically sound but needs to tighten it up a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think Levi redshirts. Then comes back wider than a house as a 174. See: Hayden Hidlay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He’s going up, purportedly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Greeley isn’t 30min away from any of those things. Greeley is Kansas. With a few exceptions in the southern part of the state, anything east of I25 is Kansas, geographically (and politically). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But plenty of mirrors, I’m sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ferrari does seem to like to do that. Also, kind of funny that he says, "2024-2025". As the self-appointed best 197lb of all time, I'm surprised he would limit himself like that. And, if Starocci truly bumps up to 197, and Kerk comes back, yeah, it's not Ferrari and Kooter.

Maybe he just wants to escape the stink coming out of the feedlots in Greeley.

Don't you have to use an Olympic RS in an Olympic year? Or, would he technically be eligible for a regular RS? Either way, despite being a Penn State fan, I am not a fan of a service academy graduate being granted additional eligibility AND deferment of service. I doubt he's coming to Penn State, but, my stance would remain the same if he was. If he wants to go the WCAP route, great, but he wouldn't be doing that as a collegiate athlete.

That’s always been my thought on it. Most people who smoke weed are watching funny movies and supporting Frito-Lay corporation. While there is a possibility of someone smoking and driving, it just doesn’t happen all that often. Most of them have a routine, and it doesn’t involve going anywhere, at all. Alcohol? My next door neighbor was a manager of a large supermarket. Regularly saw drunk people walking in to the liquor store next to his store. People who drove there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are no mountains anywhere near Greeley. I don't know if you can even see them from campus. Greeley is Western Kansas.
