ffs, chill out. you're not interested in what the rumors are? -
No talk of Earth's recent broken Heat Wave?
Husker_Du replied to PortaJohn's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
idk what this means -
the more i think about it, i doubt it would be hunter's. 1) he wouldn't be that stupid and why wouldn't he just keep it on him? there's a clip of him literally doing a zoot while on the white house balcony. so he obviously did have it on him. 2) let's not act like coke use is rare. there was probably numerous people on the sauce that day.

i thought (i could be wrong) that he had a very legitimate claim that Twitter presented X number of users but that b/c of fake accounts/bots that number was a lot lower. seemed legit to me, but idk.
-
can you expand on this? not sure what you mean
-
he banned it? as in, you literally can't post it? also, do you know the origins of the word?

There's never been (in my lifetime) unbiased 'news'. there's people who are willing to filter and research the truth, and there are (many more) people who just lap up what their fed. it's cliche, but it's the simple fact
-
yeah, that's not an accurate picture. but whatever. they were haggling over a price and Musk did what any good businessman would do. that is not to say that the deal was a good investment, but if you're going to buy something you're gonna haggle. it should also be noted that whatever the 'value' of Twitter was and is now, it never made money. i love twitter, but as a product idk that i'd want to own it as there's not really a proven financial model behind it. alternatively, FB makes money hand over fist with paid advertising and selling your data.

uhh, i don't think so. The Elon hatefest occurred exactly at the time he was talking about buying Twitter b/c it was a corrupt leftist mouthpiece and they blocked and censored legit science and information. Elon: I believe in free speech The Left: this can't happen! twitter will become a haven for hate speech and misinformation Two months later: The White House is guilty of pushing and pulling messaging on Twitter don't get it twisted. The schadenfreud for Elon's Twitter had its genesis b/c the left wet their panties over a guy trying to make something less political and more open.

can you tell us what topics you think there is in-fighting regarding among citizens? and you think the problem is 'dopes like me' making a joke on a message board about Ketanji Brown not knowing what a woman is, but not the fact that we just put a Supreme Court Justice on the court that refuses to accept science. I'll say that again - a Supreme Court Justice, whose only job is to follow science and the law, refuses to accept a very basic concept because of the current cultural climate. it's the definition of politicizing a court. but yeah, dopes like me are the problem

i just don't get this at all. beyond all the theatrics and rhetoric, the ONLY thing that truly affects citizens is POLICY. it's quite frankly the only thing you should care about. saying 'it can change every four years' is flippant. tell that to the parents of dead kids of fentanyl. or an entire generation of kids whose development was retarded by absolutely ridiculous covid policy. or the permanent ramifications of both our funds and reputation for being in a grift of a war supporting a crooked govt in Ukraine.

not that anyone cares, but... i don't really care about the 'big 3' 1) Gun Control - i don't mess w/ guns, but i respect those who do. to me it's comical that the left continually points fingers at the ones who own guns legally and think that violent crime will go down by affecting them. 2) Abortion - it's now a states rights issue. it'll work itself out imo 3) Gay Marriage - i just don't see this as an issue. i don't know that i would even consider it a Big 3, actually. perhaps i'm naive here, but is there any credible threat to gay marriages being banned (for the love of god, please don't point out rhetoric from far right slapnuts. them saying it doesn't it make a likely to happen)

Quick check in on Tucker Carlson's "video views"
Husker_Du replied to VakAttack's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
i'm not gonna keep going round and round with you. if you want to think Fox News is the cause behind the left and right fighting, go ahead. i think it's abundantly clear the fighting is the product of utterly idiotic policy of this administration and anti-science narratives by just about every MSM source that time and time again gets proven wrong and/or counter productive. -
she admitted she's not a biologist lol
-
wtf does that have to do with anything? the fate of the country? lol. the fate of the country is in peril b/c harvard, a private institution, has a 4% asian enrollment. i'm with you on your politics (i think) - but that one is out there.
-
Same reason Nikola Jokic plays in the NBA. they are private institutions. a more fitting question would be why we are hellbent on allowing a mass influx of illegal immigrants which certainly affects tax payers.

right, right. i know you are but what am i? keep your mask up and get your booster -
just semantics. sounds totally fine.

i don't think we want our standard for human rights violations to be the lowest common denominator w/ Russia
-
i see that. can i ask you though - are 'cluster munitions' considered 'dirty tactics' as 'cluster bombs' are? if so, it's not cool imo. and you can bet your ass this will be thrown back in our faces.
-
imo, Trump's policies were never in question. they were/are superior. he just can't help himself from being a prick. and voters are relatively stupid and shallow. i have no idea what's going to happen, but the current policies under this admin are so stupid it's almost like they want to hurt the country on purpose. i think it would be interesting if we all listed what policies we'd like to see enacted going forward. here's mine: 1) fully secured southern border w/ proper documentation/process for immigrants and deportation for offenders (which would also crush the fentanyl stream which is out of control 2) open domestic oil production back up (which would reduce inflation immediately) 3) get the eff out of the Ukraine conflict. it's a giant grift from one of the world's most corrupt governments and we're the suckers
-
i believe you and thank you fo explaining the difference that being said, i'm literally watching CNN right now and Biden is talking about them (he says munitions) but the chyron reads 'cluster bombs'

that is the point that is often repeated: "their legal team must have thought they were liable, because the settled." and it's a good, fair point. however i think there's more to it. and i say that b/c 1) i watch fox a lot and i don't recall any of their hosts banging the 'dominion is crooked' drum'. (for sure their guests did, though). 2) where are the clips of those hosts doing so? so at the end of the day, the only argument anyone makes is 'well they must have felt guilty b/c they settled.' imo, due to the lack of evidence wherein their hosts were liable, the more likely reason they settled is b/c they were afraid of internal documents and directives. just my guess though -
all the reporting (from sources on both sides) have called them 'cluster bombs'. whatever the case, it doesn't seem to be a good thing. and that Russia isn't involved in the treaty makes little difference imo. the result is the same.
