    Who excites you on Bono's roster? He can't recruit. If it wasn't for bringing in some transfer's, his teams would have really sucked. As a whole, guys aren't getting better in that program. Both Bono and Reader were brawlers, i just don't think they are very good at teaching technique.

    Completely different situations. Bono and Reader aren’t getting it done. I most definitely wouldn’t replace Bono with Reader. They grind their guys down to nothing. Take away the portal guys (Gross, Gomez, etc..)and they’ve brought in very few top talent guys. Guys are all treated differently. You’re either one of their guys, or you’re just a body in the room.

    I believe he started practicing a few weeks ago. Could take some time for him to get to where he needs to be. Hopefully he can come back, but concussions are a tricky thing.

    That’s why I think you’ll see Wilson at 174. I would bet it happens no later than the CKLV tournament, maybe sooner

    Don’t forget last year was his first full year of competition. He broke his thumb or finger the year before.

    I think if Truax came in, then Pinto would have probably went 174

    If Robb wasn’t ready, Taylor was going to be the guy at 157

    All I am saying, they were looking for a different option at 165 this offseason, and if Taylor is at 165, I’d rather see Wilson at 174 instead of Brown Ton.

    I didn’t say they enrolled, I said they visited.

    I hate to tell you this, but they did. I know for a fact they were both on campus. I know a wrestler pretty well that was around both of them on their visits.

    I know for a fact they brought in Olejnik and Caliendo.

    That’s why I think he’ll be at 174. I’m not sure that he’s a fridge AAer though. There’s a reason they brought in multiple 165 portal guys this past spring and summer.

    I’m not saying he isn’t a stud. He’s an 157 pounder wrestling 165. He is going to be on the small side. Saying that, I think I would rather have him at 165 though. Wilson has been a .500 wrestler the last 2 years. I’m wondering if we haven’t seen the best from him.

    Well, Taylor is going to be a small 165er. I think Wilson gives them more experience and quite frankly, is probably better then Brown-Ton

    Taylor will go back down to 157 next year. Basically forced to go up if he wanted a chance to wrestle this year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wilson at 174. I think he’s probably a better option. Also, I believe Pentz is no longer with the team.

    Van Dee will be at 133. They really like him. Plus he’s probably out grown 125

    I would guess Taylor will be at 165 maybe a transfer @174

    They wrestled the night before at Illinois. Manning gave his older guys (Cronin, Robb, and Labs) the night off. They gave others the night off against Illinois. They beat both teams handily with backups wrestling. At this point of the season, guys are fighting injuries. He doesn’t need to grind these guys down to nothing before the end of the year. The goal is to have these guys firing on all cylinders by the B1Gs and Nationals.
