If sports weren't important to a school, then football coaches wouldn't be making 4 million a year while the professors make 90K. I don't think wrestlers redshirting is the problem.

I disagree. Many kids are not academically ready to complete all their academic requirements in 4 years (double major, not a great hs, etc). Why not take an extra year to mature mentally and physically and enjoy competing at the same time. We have our entire adult life to work our 9-5 job, why not compete until 23-24 while you can do it? Many sports the average guy can do beyond his 20's, wrestling isn't one of them.

At least with FloArena you can set up text alerts for on deck matches and results for preferred matches. This comes in handy when you have 20+ mats to keep an eye on.

He is kind of a tweener in weight, and not particularly quick for 197. Much better at the international styles at a heavier weight. Also, he was under a lot of stress about his mother's health last year which was a distraction all season. I expect he'll do better this year, but not quite AA level.
