What's the deal with Gunderson? He was on the UNI roster as a So in 22-23, but then not on the roster last year, but still wrestled as Panther WC I think. Just a redshirt or did he leave school? -

Joe Mauer. Baseball: 6'4" catcher first ballot HOF with multiple AL batting titles and Gold Glove awards. Career batting average of .600 in high school with one strikeout! Number 1 overall pick in MLB draft. Football: QB, #1 national prospect by several service coming off Senior year. Turned down Florida State offer when he got drafted overall #1 in the MLB draft. Basketball: Guard. His worst sport but was first team All-State his last 2 years of high school.

On FRL today Pyles is saying that Cunningham was first pursued but declined. Then Taylor expressed interest, but Pyles thinks he has or will decline the OSU job and that it will be Coleman.

The stock market will never be risk free in the short term, but over the decades a total stock market index fund has averaged about 10%. A balanced 70/30 stock to bond ratio will get you about 8% nominal return. Bonds alone, 4-5%. Cash money market fund have been paying around 5% for most of the last year, which is about as safe as you can get, but historically more like 2-3%. Inflation has historically been 2-3% so you need more than that to break even.
