When a coach leaves, you update the website. You don't wait for the next season. They have an interim coach. OSU hasn't bothered for nearly a month. It's in multiple locations, including the drop-down menu for the sport page under "Team Info" and on the athletic department staff directory. He's no longer the head coach. We aren't talking about a shoestring operation at OSU - they just haven't done it. Does it mean anything for the coaching search? Probably not - I was being somewhat hyperbolic in the first post. But they certainly haven't cared enough to update things which means something. If you were talking about the actual roster, I'd agree, but not with the head coach.

This must not be a priority for Oklahoma State. John Smith is still listed as head coach on its website https://okstate.com/sports/wrestling/roster

This isn't only a Cleveland State issue. Many schools are in the same boat or swimming as fast as they can toward that boat for a variety of reasons. Some reasons are political, some are social, some are economic, some are mismanagement - among many other factors. But no, they are not okay.

This. When a guy starts talking about retirement, his mindset has changed. That doesn't mean a win over DT isn't noteworthy, but Taylor has been talking about farming a lot. I hope Brooks wins gold. He's certainly going to be in the mix. He has international success/experience and is a great wrestler. I'm thinking DT goes for one more world team spot and then leaves his shoes regardless of the outcome.

Or he doesn't want his phone blowing up with every DI coach. He very well could have made the decision to transfer before the NCAA tournament, but that doesn't mean he's been talking to coaches at other schools.
