Just because some ideological propagandist steers ‘research’ toward his preconceived conclusion shouldn’t mean others have to fall for it. Regrettably, even law enforcement entities have been enabled by the spoilage. The dimocrats are anything but democratic. They are the party that wants to pack the court with ideological activist judges, who will legislate their regressive laws from the bench, because they can’t pass them through Congress. That’s authoritarian. They want to eliminate the filibuster -but only when they’re in the majority. That’s authoritarian. They want to eliminate the electoral college so that the entire country can be ruled by bicoastal elites who have rigged and arranged for single party dominance in the biggest metropolis’ in the country. That’s authoritarian. They want the government bureaucracies to control speech through consorting with private social media platforms to squelch any message that is deemed offensive or uncomfortable, even if true. That’s authoritarian. They want to imprison, possibly for life, those who exercise their 1st amendment rights to speak out, challenge, and petition the government for their grievances. That’s authoritarian. Possibly the most revealing part is they don’t even trust themselves to nominate their candidate using democracy. This cycle they’re adding to the system that gives certain people ‘super votes’ that count more than regular votes, with strict rules imposed on candidates as to where and when they can campaign. Penalties for breaking the rules include losing pledged delegates won in other states as well as the restricted states. Decided by a committee of who’s who serving as judge, jury, and executioner, just as they are trying to install in every other element of the government. That’s authoritarian, they’re authoritarian. They’re on the left. Case closed.

It’s not a law, it’s the president’s, and everybody else’s, prerogative, and always has been. It was proven this year that the president doesn’t need to participate for the memorial to endure. Considering who it is and his penchant for leaving a stain on these occasions; so what? The commemorations, like Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Pearl Harbor Day, and D-Day will continue, for some, a long time.

I’ve heard some crazy explanations about the physics of the attack. Someone said it was unheard of that fire could melt steel. Not a blacksmith, obviously. One of the videos said the plane’s aluminum couldn’t pierce the concrete and steel building. Aluminum’s selling point has long been that, pound for pound, it’s stronger than steel; obviously the narrator has never seen straws and such embedded in telephone poles and trees after a tornado or hurricane. As for the controlled demolition, it’s not hard to imagine the weight of the intact floors above the floor that is weakening due to heat, dropping one floor at a time as each one fails, to resemble controlled demolition.

The only electricity we use for heat is what’s needed for the thermostat and blowers. I can do that with my generator. If the gas goes down I can use wood. If it ever comes to that, it’ll be because of the insane venture to these huge rare bird vegematics that blithering idiots have bought into.

Agreed, point the fat at the heat. With brisket in my little offset smoker, I flip it end for end and over to expose it all to the same conditions. On the last one, a little of the fat side stuck to the grate and the brisket was so juicy and tender that it pulled in two when I tried to remove it.

It doesn’t matter, the fat on the outside will not penetrate into the meat, it’ll just melt and drip off. Meat that has marbling, fat distributed all through the meat, will render and flavor the meat. About the only thing you can add that will penetrate is salt, based on how long you apply it before cooking. If you want to add flavor or juiciness internally, you need to inject it. Scoring would only expand outer surface.
