  1. This might be a question worth it’s own topic but open question for all… how would you rank Kueter, Feldman, Christian Carroll and Koy Hopke as prospects? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. I am much less worried about losing Chittum after the things that have transpired over the last few days. Not concerned about Kluever or Polanco at all. And honestly, not entirely too concerned about Blockhus leaving either. I think he had a PHENOMENAL postseason where everything came together great for him, similar to Jake Bergeland two years ago. I feel like coming back for a sixth year could have played out similar to Bergelands and I’m not mad that Blockhus is going out on top. Gable leaving has nothing to do with coaching or the program. He’s getting big money to do what he’s always wanted. Feel like he was never going to stick around for 5 years. Nagao, Spratley, and Jamison is what has the alarm bells ringing. That’s bad. 4. Nah. Ours is worse. Northwestern at least has the excuse that their guys were grad transfers and maybe couldn’t get in to grad school. We have no excuse. Iowa only lost one guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. He greyshirted two seasons ago, redshirt last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Willie tweeted that he’s in the portal this afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. One step forward, two steps back in Minnesota. Losing Nagao, Spratley and now Jamison is about as disaster level as it can get. Thank god for the Koy Hopke commitment, but the lightweight portion of the team is in absolute shambles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If not wanting to be teammates with the Ferrari’s is a primary driver, I wonder how Gabe Arnold feels about that as well. Not a hometown kid, not a ton of ties to the hawks, much bigger flight risk than a kid like Ryder Block IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I could see the Chittum family and the Ferrari family getting along like oil and water. And both have proven to not be afraid to exit from a situation they’re unhappy with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Helps a lot that Minnesota and Wisconsin have tuition reciprocity. They can really be treated like in-state recruits financially. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Chittum lost to Drew Roberts (gopher) his last high school loss. Then he got smoked by Jamison at the US open not too long after. Chittums father has a large influence In where he landed (as with most top prospects) and in their last visit to MN he realized that Roberts was on the team as well. That scared the whole commitment. It wasn’t the sole reason, but it was a big part of it. NOW, the part that I don’t get is Jamison, Roberts, etc have stayed lower weight wise and Chittum has grown into a 157 (I think) and would still fit the roster. Money/teammate relationships came in to play big time at that point and Eggum couldn’t seal the deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yes!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It comes off as sour grapes from someone like me but yeah, I think Chittum is going to struggle more at the college level than most realize. Among other things I think he’s a better freestyle guy than folk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Chance Lamer in the portal is a shocker, imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. 1. Gable Steveson Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Minnesota has pretty much bare cupboards at 125 and 133. Pat McKee coming off major surgery and only has one year left. Eggum and Brandvold need to have Henson and Cruz on the phone ASAP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Obe Blanc is the man. He will kill it if he gets the HC job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hopke’s brother plays baseball at NDSU and is rumored to be in the transfer portal soon if not already. Where he lands to play baseball will greatly influence where Koy goes, imo. Minnesota very much a player. I’d consider them a favorite, but you can never count out Cael. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I feel like the answer to both questions is probably no Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Are we confident AJ Ferrari can ever make 197 again? Guy is huge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Diamonds in the rough will emerge… and then transfer to Penn state Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Oh yeah certainly not trying to argue Teske is better. I think Nagao is a championship contender and Teske would be lucky to AA. I do think he will have to adjust his game a bit. Which, as I’ve said, he’s super talented and capable of doing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I’m not referring to just riding time, look at his match at NCAA’s against Kai Orine for example. Or Jesse Mendez at big tens, he lost the takedown battle but won by riding well and getting quick escapes. He doesn’t win those matches with new rules. Again, he’s a really talented kid and hard worker so I’m sure he will adapt, but he’ll need to be more offensive on his feet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That is a very funny and also accurate description, thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
