I will go with one of my teams, the University of Michigan. This match happens this season AT Penn State. The dual starts at 125.
125
Medley (UoM) VS Howard (PSU)
I think we are going to see a Medley that is much improved, after a season behind Suriano. I also don't see a reason to believe Howard has jumped levels. The match was a one takedown match before. I think it will be that again, but in the other direction, and not going in to OT. 3-1, 4-2 style match in favor of Medley. I wouldn't be surprised to see an additional riding time point tacked on there, too.
UoM 3 - PSU 0
133
Ragusin (UofM) VS Bravo-Young (PSU)
Word out of the room is that Ragusin has jumped levels. Will it be enough? No. Will it keep it closer than 7/8 point losses like prior? Yes. RBY will win the TD battle 3-0 and the final score will be 7-3 with no riding time advantage either way.
Tied 3 - 3
141
Mattin (UofM) VS Bartlett (PSU)
I think by the time this match rolls around Mattin will have established himself as the clear frontrunner for Michigan. That said, this is going to always be a difficult matchup fot him. Bartlett is faster and a better wrestler, which will likely prevent Mattin from being able to grind away. I expect a comfortable 6-4, 8-5 style match, in which the match is never in doubt even if the score is close.
PSU 6 - UofM 3
149
Lamer (UofM) VS Van Ness (PSU)
Here is a scary possible match. I expect both to have jumped levels. Neither will gas the other. This is probably my most difficult match to call. I am going homer here and calling a 12-10 OT match win for Lamer.
Tied 6 - 6
157
Lewan (UofM) VS J. Lee (PSU)
I was a beluever in Berraclaugh last season and he never separated himself or provrd himself. I expect that this season, too. Coin flip told me Joe Lee. Lewan will be winning in his typical fashion then Lee will try a couple desparate things late, though, and los 8-3.
UofM 9 - PSU 6
165
Amine (UofM) VS Facundo (PSU)
This match goes in to OT at 4-4 in which Facundo had 2 takedowns and Amine had riding time. Facundo gets the TD in OT.
Tied 9 - 9
174
Walker (UofM) VS Starocci (PSU)
Walker is tough, just not on the level of Starocci. He will keep it from bonus, buy it won't be close. 8-2, 10-3 type match.
PSU 12 - UofM 9
184
Finesilver (UofM) VS Brooks (PSU)
Finesilver may win some matches using his much improved neutral game, but Brooks is just much better in every facet of the game here. 13-3, 15-5 type wide Major.
PSU 16 - UofM 9
197
Striggow (UofM) - Dean (PSU)
I was hoping to see Bullock give it a go, but the word is that he is under 184 as of now... wrong way to go. In either case, Dean wins via Technical Fall.
PSU 21 - UofM 9
Parris (UofM) - Nevills (PSU)
With the dual in hand, and Parris, now healthy and hungrier than ever, having BLAZED a path through everyone by now, Sanderson throws Nevills out there - indicating Kerk is on a pitch count. Rather easy, workmanlike Major 16-5. After the match he points at Kerkvliet.
