  1. I am happy he won a medal. I am okay leaving it at that.
  2. Less comical because the Jap has a dome twice the size of Marky Mark's.
  3. Also! When they all go to stand on top for a group picture... the German, Joshua Morodion is taller than the other three, despite standing in the Bronze portion and the other gents up top. His match with Japan must have been comical. We can laugh together: https://www.flowrestling.org/events/11157505-2023-u23-world-championship/videos?playing=11345071&limit=60
  4. No need to change your mind. Cardenas will have a Bronze to hang in his coffers, not a Silver. Much different value on the grey market.
  5. So the Patil guy has been around a while. He lost to Rocky Elam at 2021 U20s 12-2 and Nate Jackson 10-0 at this year's Moustafa. Cardenas must not have watched those matches.
  6. Holy shit, Gimli with the clutch takedown with 15S to go.
  7. If we are going off current location... 2016. It was shortened to have non-Oly weights.
  8. 6-1 victory of O'Toole. Got in on a wierd position there at the end and was content not pushing through it. U23 World Champ: Keegan O'Toole, USA
  9. Honestly O'Toole makes this Russo look like a 70 KG guy. Grinds out a TD. 1M15S to go, O'Toole up 6-1.
  10. 4-1 at the break. Probably one of the more entertaining matches of the day so far. A lot of good action.
  11. Just a fear instigated instinct. He was okay being tough and difficult and hard-nosed... until he wasn't. Currently 5-0 for O'Toole with 11S remaining in the first. Russo is challenging the point there at the end. Ends up being one for the Russo rather than O'Toole on the stepout?
  12. Russo bellied out as soon as O'Toole started throwing that cradle in there. That was cool.
  13. I think timing has a lot to do with why some didn't leave. They're already in their studies. If (when) any do leave I would expect it to be after this season.
  14. Trumble with a quick two minute techfall 11-0. On to the finals.
  15. Takedown and turn. 11-0 Tech for the Azeri via Tech over the Kazahk.
  16. Whole lot of nothing going on then a four for the Azeri with 2M remaining. Up 7-0.
  17. First ends that way. 3-0 at the break.
  18. Azeri with a takedown with 30S remaining in the first. 3-0 Azeri up on the Kazahk.
  19. Azeri awarded a shot clock violation point with 1M5S remaining in the first.
  20. We are rooting for the Azeri on Mat B now, gents. 79 KG. Needs to eliminate the Jap.
  21. Russo had Teched everyone else so far today. So a good showing, I suppose?
  22. Gerbage time takedown for Zapf. 9-2 final, Zapf will wrestle for Bronze tomorrow.
  23. Russo drops to his knees and fakes a shot. Stays there. 9-0 still with 30s to go.
  24. He has to go big. Russo knows it. Is playing defendor against the big move at this point. 1M to go in the 2nd. Down 9-0.
