  1. It seems his enthusiasm is not specific to Bitcoin, but the funny thing is there is really no difference. It’s all a fantasy.
  2. That is the point. I’m not coming at you specifically, but why do we have this thread? Where is the Henson thread or the Paniro thread? The win by Van Ness isn’t newsworthy in the slightest.
  3. I’d pick Van Ness too. All 3 are freshman with barely a match or 2 under their belts. Van Ness was a significantly higher level recruit. The point is that there was nothing impressive with his match the other night. He killed a guy he should have killed. The other two wrestlers victories were much more impressive.
  4. You keep saying it’s the best medium for creators. But what’s the proof? Outside of wrestling there is nothing worthwhile on there. A bunch of fringe content like crypto (which is imploding as we speak) and conspiracy theories. Where are all the creators of content with large audiences?
  5. Paniro Johnson takes down Gomez. Caleb Hensen takes down Sasso. But those wins pale in comparison to what Van Ness is doing at 49.
  6. I’m college I was very routine. I would eat the exact same thing, warm up the exact same way with a pre-weigh in workout and a post weigh in warm up. I was a 125 and absolutely hated when they drew weights. My routine was all about performing exactly 1 hour after weigh in. Could never figure out quite how to get it right if I was the 4th or 7th match of the night.
  7. That’s true, just the example you used was a bad one to showcase that point.
  8. A big reason for that PSU result is they didn’t put out their full team against Penn. They were without RBY, Brooks, Kerk. So, that is a little different. WI sent out all their top guys.
  9. This. It is an insane system. I say shut it all down.
  10. I said Greco was his specialty. He’s had the most success there, and this year that is the only style he competed in at WTT. So, again, it is his specialty. Never said he wasn’t good at other styles. My opinion is the further you go down the rabbit hole in Greco (such as focusing all summer in it preparing for world championships) the tougher it gets to have a ton of folkstyle success. I still think he’s going to be a multiple AA, which is awesome, but that is lower than I think most expectations would have been for him.
  11. I don’t know that I’m correct, I never said anything. I only asked why you think Hamiti is better than Carr.
  12. Curious what would make you think that?
  13. How many Greco world teams and at levels has he been on?
  14. Greco specialists typically don’t do as well as you’d think in folk. Too much time spent hand fighting and not enough on defending or attacking legs. The transition is somewhat easier for an upper weight where there are typically less leg attacks and more hand fighting, but at 97 you still need to be able to get a takedown.
  15. I’m taking ISU + 4.5. Hamiti/Carr under 12.5.
  16. Going to be a great dual to start the season!
  17. Thanks for sharing. How do you read the next subsection 13.1.1.3.1.1? It doesn’t take effect until next year, but looks like it would cover this situation, no?
  18. Not buying this at all. We already know that there were other wrestlers that got their release after the deadline. So why go hardline in this case? Makes no sense. This is all Bono, and no amount of Wisconsin propaganda will convince me otherwise.
  19. No one mentioning Pat Pop? He’s killing it at NC State.
