  1. Liegel did well but I would not put him on This dudes level. But I'm pretty certain that Bozo would mess up KOT at this point.
  2. Can the dude hang in D1 a definite beast, that Bono will fumble.
  3. He probably stood over the Social Media student and forced them to post about it. He sucks, he's Flavor Flav without the clock, nothing more than a hype man
  4. they automatically renew all winter coaches yearly. Every single UW winter coach got a 1 year extension, he isn't special They gave the Hockey coach an extension a couple years ago then fired him months later.
  5. Is this a last-ditch effort by Bozo to save his job, by bringing in an outsider? Is Gross the scapegoat? looks like a demotion to me MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin wrestling head coach Chris Bono has announced staffing changes in a restructure for both the Badgers and the Wisconsin Regional Training Center (WRTC). Beginning this month, Wisconsin assistant coach Seth Gross will be joining the WRTC coaching staff as a full-time coach and continue training as a national and international athlete as the next Olympic training cycle starts. "This is something that is greatly needed in today's competitive landscape as we have athletes competing and training across the world," said Bono. "Seth will be training talented wrestlers for the highest levels of national and international competition, in addition to being able to focus on his own training on the path to his dream of becoming an Olympian." The WRTC coaching staff works directly with both UW wrestlers and athletes within a 250-mile radius of Madison. The WRTC is a USA wrestling sanctioned training center where high school, college and post-collegiate wrestlers who meet established criteria can all train together on a consistent basis to reach their potential of being state, national and world champions. "Being able to focus on training high-performance wrestlers right here in Madison and keep building the WRTC into a national and international powerhouse is an honor," said Gross. "My own journey to becoming an Olympian is one of my highest priorities alongside my family and my faith, so I am looking forward to starting my next training cycle and working with talented wrestlers here on the path to the next summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028." The next upcoming goal for Gross in this new cycle is to make the United States' World Team in September at 61 kilograms in men's freestyle. Gross will spearhead a talented WRTC coaching staff that includes Garrett Model, a UW alumnus and two-time NCAA qualifier for the Badgers, and Cade Sarbacker, a 2013 NCAA All-American at UW-Whitewater.
  6. When are the extra Covid year wrestlers done? Seriously some of these dudes should have a PHD by now.
  7. Hamiti has a RS to use, there is a chance he sits out 24/25 and bulks up to 74 rumors were he wanted to RS last year and Bozo talked him out of it.
  8. Coleman screwed Coleman You don't leave a solid head coaching job without an iron clad guarantee that you were the next inline Blind faith got him to this point. He will be fine and end up with a HC job in the next cycle.
  9. I think he should bring along a well-established and liked head coach like Chris Bono. I'm sure us Wisconsin fans would be sad to see him go but would completely understand.... We would be happy to welcome Coleman Scott to lead our team in Madison Someone please make this happen.
  10. They bought out Davis a year after they gave him the same extension. These extensions are like clock work. Go back a year they celebrated an extension last year too. the MBB team was ranked 6th then went on a colossal tank job! First round NCAA exit, Greg Gard has just as much heat from the fan base than Bono. The HC for MBB is absolutely on thin ice. I believe this might be a prove it year for Bono. The AD was willing to pull the plug on Paul Cryst he will do the same on Non revenue sports
  11. Don’t get too excited about this. This is protocol for UW. They extended all of their winter coaches by one year, happens each and every year. Nothing out of the ordinary here, only wrestling promotes this like Bono earned it. He probably stood over the social intern and made him put together the graphic and post it.
  12. Minnesota or UNI? Less than zero chance he goes home and wrestles for Bozo in my opinion.
  13. For my money its Bruce Baumgartner, Dude had an undefeated streak against other Americans for well over a decade. He was always a threat to medal at every world/Olympics, just a beast of a man! I was at a Mike Deanna wrestling camp in Edinboro in 1991, Bruce was a counselor. Some camps the counselors take it easy on the participants, not Bruce, he wrestled everyone like they were the top Russian. It was a pleasure to take a beating from one of the greatest ever.
