I think if Steed sucked down to 149 he would not maintain the strength needed.
-
I thought Steiber was generational but everyone pretty much knew he was going to tOSU. Pico, ahh, what could have been?

Mizzou has sort of replaced the Lindenwood open with their own Tiger style tournament in KC. Stinks for us that live on the east side of the state. I made the 1 1/2 drive to Mizzou to watch them wrestle the ASU JV team.

Took his brother years to fill out to a decent heavy and still has tank issues. Can’t see Rocky leaving 197. Reason I say that about Zac is because they were both the same body wise. To be honest 197 would have been the best weight for Zac imo.

I think 184 is going to be real interesting to see play out, especially when Sinclair arrives

Sounds like Hawks has the upper hand right now. Coach Smith answers just about every question this upcoming season in interviews on flo and themat. Sounds like there are going to be some battles. Keegan staying at 65.

Is it just speculation for what wrestlers are getting or is there actual documentation for what each wrestler receives. Shoot, the highest international guys we have just started making decent money 5-10 years ago. Find it hard to believe collegiate kids are knocking down major coin, outside of a handful or so guys. Niche sports don’t usually rake in lots of cash. A few universities come out ahead with their program but I would think only a few.

Last I heard Lee said excuses are for wussies.

Ask Spencer Lee about excuses

Never know. Guys make level jumps seemingly out of nowhere. Look at Vito, I didn’t see him completely dominating RBY the way he did.

It’s time to renew those season tickets! How about a goal to average 3,000 fans a dual.

I’m a born and raised St. Charles boy. I can remember when lindenwood used to be two old buildings and an old water tower. Lindenwood started out an etiquette school for girls, that’s why all the giant house across the street, sororities. -

I watched Mocco beat Carr at Lindenwood Open, might have been called Parisi Open then. Both were true freshmen. I think the score was 9-8. Also last match of the year for Mocco because in 3rd period he had his knee trashed and had to have surgery. -

Weird, because Smith has never gone by wrestle offs to make his starting line up. He’s has always been very up front with the fact he is going to put the wrestler whoever gives the team the best chance. Shoot I never saw Chandler beat Brooks but Chandler started none the less. -

If Keegan goes up you can bet that he and Peyton have already agreed about the moves. Peyton was one of the factors O’Toole came to Mizzou. By the way I doubt very seriously that Jacques ever beat O’Toole. I never seen it if it happened. The reason Keegan went up was because that was the plan at sometime and it helped the team by getting Jacques in at 157. Instead of waiting for 1/2 a year or a year they just made the jump then for the betterment of the team, and all the parties involved were capable. Getting back to Keegan going up I have no idea if that will happen. Only reason I mention the possibility is because there has been a little talk O’Toole wants to challenge himself. Sometimes where there is smoke there is fire. Sometimes it’s just smoke. I don’t donate enough to the program to get all juice. If I win the lottery Mizzou will be giving PSU a run for their money. -

The better weight for Steed is 157 but if Keegan take Olympic then I think he will bump up and Fisher will go 157. Time will tell. Not to mention if Keegan does wrestle but bumps to 174. Now things really get interesting. Does Mocco call it a career or cut to 165 or Steed/Fisher. Things have a way of working themselves out. -

Well I know both Keegan and Rocky have Olympic aspirations. Mauller and Hawks have also expressed Olympic desire in the past. 184 is a logjam but I like Hawks if healthy and he trust in his ability. Whiting has great positioning and tough to score on but needed to get offense of his own. Wrestling in the room everyday could/should have helped him but I don’t know if he has used that time getting efficient from his feet. Sometimes it’s hard for guys who are not used to getting beat up to continually get it handed to them while trying to learn and resort back to old ways. Whoever comes out as the starter at 184 will be a handful for most opponents. -

I am interested in if any of our guys take an Olympic year, that could mix things up. Also would like to see how a whole year in the room will affect Seltzer. I think the biggest surprise for most will be Edmonds at 141, he is very explosive. Going back down to 141 I hope will improve his gas tank, not as big of guys hanging on him.? There is always something in the line-up that takes place that didn’t see coming. Every year I feel we have a team that can bring home a trophy at the end of the year. This year I feel no different and hope they break through and get on the podium. -
Well I would like to see Zan stay in state and put on a Mizzou singlet. Mizzou has its fair share of wrestlers on the international scene.
-
Zan??

Mizzou seems to alternate years for recruiting. Last year a bunch, this year a couple. That cycle seems to repeat.
