Alex Tsirtsis is another one but again, I am not sure he got "worse" in college, I just know he was a very high recruit coming out of high school. Should PSU lose a team point for Davis throwing his headgear? Or do you only lose a point if you slam it down? Not that it will matter in the end but I thought if you threw your gear like that you get docked a team point? Plus, lose with some class. It's only about "fun" in the PSU room.

I got to say it is good to see a higher (and by higher I mean against his opp. not his actual seed) seeded PSU guy go down so early. You normally don't see that out of a PSU guy.

Of course they would…anything to help out PSU. LOL I kid, they deserve to have it there again before 2035. Matter of fact, this tourney should never be held outside of places like, Iowa, PSU, Ohio St. Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska and maybe Rutgers to hit that NJ market. The big ten is doing themselves absolutely no favors by holding this amazing tourney in places that basically don’t care about wrestling. You could make arguments for teams like NU and Wisconsin but holding this at Purdue, Michigan State and Maryland is stupid. So many empty seats and lost money.

This is pretty comical since every transfer they’ve had they have made better. Woods best finish I believe was 6th, Desanto’s best finish I believe was 7th so nice try. Every coach uses the portal to their advantage and I don’t think I would want a coach who doesn’t look at high level transfers out of the portal.

He has had times this year that makes me grasp but always comes out on top. With that being said, I sure hope he doesn't have go under Glory Saturday night. I actually think Cronin beats Glory BUT if Lee does make it to the finals and Glory is his opponent, I sure hope he doesn't have to go under him.

I don't hate the challenges but the time it takes for these refs to make the call. If you are not seeing something in the first 4-5 minutes, then you aren't seeing it. That stoppage in the SVN-Miller match was insane and should never happen.

I totally agree the most likely weight this happens is at 197. Obviously it could happen at any weight but my money would be at 197. I think this chart shows how well the committee does at seeding these wrestlers. Looks like on average, 73 percent of the champs are seeded 1 or 2. 85 percent are seeded 1, 2 or 3 and a whopping 93 percent are seeding in the top 4.
