  1. It’s the best I got. I do what I can.
  2. I am as big a PSU fan as there is but Brooks is so self righteous it’s nauseating. He truly thinks his religious views make him better than everyone else. We have had some fantastic guys over the last decade but some of them are just insufferable douches. Bo Nickal. Carter Starocci. Aaron Brooks. The list of insufferable douches is certainly growing.
  3. I see you’ve never listened to Baschmania before. If you’re looking for a wrestling podcast this isn’t it. It’s unlistenable.
  4. Let's do this and see how far we can get. My friends and I always have a laugh at how old someone could potentially be and competing. Let's say you have a guy who did the 8th grade redshirt. That is how we start. Let's say the kid graduated in 2018 at 19 years old and does a two year mission. That makes him 21 years old as a TRFR in 2020. He takes a RS but places top three in his age group world tournament (U23) in his RS year. 2021: RSFR. This is a free COVID year. He is 22 years old. 2022: RSSO. Injured. 23 years old. Three years left. 2023: Olympic redshirt for finishing top 3 in age group worlds. 24 years old. Three years left. 2024: RSJR. Wrestles full year. 25 years old. Two years left. 2025: RSSR. Wrestles full year. 26 years old. One year left. 2026: 6th year Senior. Wrestles full year. 27 years old. Medals at senior worlds. 2027: Olympic redshirt for 2028 Olympic trials for medaling at senior worlds. 28 years old. 2028: Applies for medical waiver for injury in 2022 and it's granted. Wrestles full year. 29 years old. Can anyone do better?
  5. Yes, Barr is a far better option to have at 184lbs than Cochran at 197lbs. Cochran is a backup while Barr is a starter. Cochran won’t start at 197lbs no matter where Carter wrestles.
  6. I think it’s more of a matter of not having Barr lose a year of eligibility. He already took a RS last seeing.
  7. Yeah, I think Carter cuts weight to 174lbs. I don't think it's so bad he can't do it but I think the real reason he went 86kg at the trials is because with his injury he couldn't make 74kg. If he was healthy I think we would have seen him at 74kg for the trials and I think he would have weighed a decent bit under 174lbs for the weekend in preparation. But, I think all of your points here are valid and he moves up at least one weight but most likely two. Him moving to 197lbs makes room for Barr and Facundo.
  8. I think Carter can make 174lbs just fine. I only think he is going 174lbs because Jeff Byers said he thinks that's where he goes if he comes back. I saw the interview with Byers yesterday. I think it makes sense for Carter to go 197lbs and make the jump like Brooks did. Carter is taller than Brooks. Haines could go 174lbs to be honest. From what I've heard he has trouble with 157lbs so I figured he would swap with MM who is smaller than Haines, at least by the looks of it. I do think Facundo could go 174lbs and be very good. He could also go 165lbs. If Kerk comes back it's obviously his spot. Otherwise Mirasola will man the spot.
  9. 125lbs - Lilledahl (Davis RS). 133lbs - Nagao 141lbs - Barlett 149lbs - SVN 157lbs - MM 165lbs - Facundo (Haines RS) 174lbs - Carter 184lbs - Josh Barr 197lbs - Mirosola 285lbs - ?
  10. Isn’t that only the case if a party refuses a search or in the case of a subpoena refuses to cooperate? Did Fandual and DraftKings turn over the data voluntarily? Because that’s what it seems like. I guess it comes down to who owns that data. Do those companies own that data? I am almost positive that an ISP can voluntarily give your data to law enforcement (such as your personal information attached to your IP address) because it’s their data. I am also pretty sure cell companies can give tower data to law enforcement voluntarily. Any company with a rewards program sells your shopping data to advertisers. Social media companies constantly sell your data. The way that I have always understood it is that those companies own that data and can give it away or sell it so I don’t think Fandual or DraftKings would be any different. If the investigators asked them for the data and they handed it over I have a hard time believing they could argue their rights were violated here in regards to the data from Fandual and DraftKings. However I am not a lawyer and a notorious buffoon (just ask my wife) so what the hell do I know?
  11. I think it meant a lot more before we started seeing so many kids excel at the youth level. With so many clubs now and the focus on traveling and getting on the mat with the best competition in the country from a young age more and more kids are reaching levels that only one or two guys a generation reached in the past. It's so much harder to reach generational status when there are far more guys reaching insane heights as 14-18 year old.
  12. If you bothered to read my posts on this site you'd understand that I post in earnest and am not a troll.
