How did you get that? In the format that has been in place you could have 5 undefeated conference champs. With no current injuries to key players. All of them with similar quality wins. Who gets left out? Thats why I was in favor of an 8-team playoff . Then you have conferences that are much better most years. So as a fan I prefer to see it settled on the field instead of in a conference room. I just feel over the last few years it would have been great to have an 8-team bracket. Now it doesn't matter.

I never thought the 4 team play-off was a good idea. You have 5 conference champions. The conferences are not equal in strength. The football team schedules are not equal. The only logical fix was to have a minimum of 8 teams. The 5 conference champs and 3 wild cards. Which they should have gone to after the first year. Now we will have 12 teams. But its a day late and a dollar short.

From reading your responses I believe you are over hyped. Have you ever wrestled? I seriously doubt it. Did you ever win a tournament?

They will be playing Georgia on Dec 30th. Honest opinion ,how do you think FSU will do.

I am not sure about the injury. But in the first match he lost both wrestlers were doing some amazing scrambling. Shapiro looked fine except you could see he was getting frustrated by losing those scrambles. He is the extremely good new kid on the block. I'm sure the veteran wrestlers and coaches are taking note. They are preparing better. Shapiro will do fine, but he will have to adjust to the competition. We are just getting started. It is a very long season. He will be on the podium.

When you loose Sammy Sasso before the season starts thats a big blow. Thankfully he survived the gun shot and is healing up. With 4 freshman starting and a true sophomore Mendez starting its easy to see the low ranking. But going toe to toe with some of the best teams in the country for 2 days should move them up to 7th or higher. They are a young team and the coaching staff has their work cut out for them. If they have no injurys and continue to improve my prediction is they will bring home a trophy in March. Will it be easy . No.

I'm a big fan Of Ohio State and Penn State. I'm from Ohio and my nephew who is from Ohio was a 2 time all-American for Penn State. What Cael and his coaching staff has done is amazing . Cael will surpass Dan Gable no doubt. Tom Ryan and his coaching staff have done a tremendous job. Its just when you try to compare there is good size gap. But trust me there are a lot of division ! teams who would love to have the success that Tom Ryan and his coaching staff has had the last few years.

With 4 freshman and a true sophomore. They are right in this team race. It was a good tournament. Mistakes were made . They will go back to Columbus and improve. Unfortunately we lost Sasso for the year when some idiot shot him. I for one am glad he survived. This team is getting better by the week.

Menefee is a very good wrestler. Hoffman got a single and Menefee goes into a full split. He is very athletic. Hoffman wasn't expecting that. A win is a win.
