  1. Jones was very good. I was ahead of him at the Sun Devil Open Finals with less than 30 sec left and he hit me with a mind-boggling fast double leg TD to win the match. Very good person too. Wish he could've lasted much longer as the Eastern Michigan coach.
  2. Nailed it with the bolded statement. I also agree that Poeta needs to continue to pick up the ball on top-tier Illinois HS recruits that his predecessor dropped consistently.
  3. Despite the quality of their respective current rosters, it would still be cool to see two former Okie State teammates/now head coaches (who I have a lot of respect for) square off .
  4. It's been nice to watch the number of D2 & D3 programs being brought back (especially with a combo mens-womens program). Hoping that some of the big revenue sports TV and internet contracts $ can trickle down to the non-revenue sports and bring some D1 programs back.
  5. As far as a former natty champ who enjoyed an amazing growth trend throughout his HS & college career was Jon Llewellyn (may he R.I.P.) He began HS as a 98 pound freshman. He finished HS as a 167-pounder. He began college as a 167-pounder (if I'm not mistaken). And ended his career as the NCAA HWT National Champ, defeating Kurt Angle.
