    With Girls Youth and High School growing so much and they wrestle folkstyle, makes no sense to me.

    Well, lets wait until they announce who the coach is. Also, many guys may not have better options. This is not a star studded team we are talking about.

    From what I'm hearing, no Reader. It's probably going to come down to a couple of former CMU wrestlers. I'm probably going to have to eat crow.

    Sorry I didn't mean to insinuate that he was kicked out of DCC. I just wanted to add some more contexts that he did leave there for whatever reason.

    Yes, not a clue, but not sure how you get thrown off that team. Couldn't be good. Not a good sign, leaves DCC and didn't finish his high school career at Pontiac.

    Sadly, I only see one commitment for MSU and that kid got throw off his high school team.

    That would seem unlikely. Change of scenery could be good for both.

    I'm not comparing the two, we can totally get in the weeds. I'm not even arguing that Reader is better than Bennett. CMU is not keeping Ben, period. We can make a bet. They are smart enough not to go the MSU route.

    Goodness, how many years did we say that about Minkel! They haven't had an All-American in what 6 years??? They compete against Wisconsin, NW, Ind, Purdue, Maryland, and ILL yet they have had many more AA's in that time. Also don't see any AA's for MSU for the forseeable future.

    I'm not ignoring Wisconsin, it's up to the CMU adm to figure out if Reader is the guy. All's I'm saying is Reader should be a good recruiter in Michigan. I've been told, Bennett is not a good coach, period. Please name me one guy that he's made at 174, 184, 197??

    They can be really good, I wish them the best. Sucks they have to wait 4 years to get in the tournament. Great news for PA wrestling!

    Most of the guys on the team don't like Bennett at all. Bennett will not get the job. As I said, I believe Reader could be a very recruiter in state.

    I think I could argue that the Minkel era was better, many more AA's. Yes, the last 5 years of Minkel was completely awful, but how many AA's does the new staff have?? The transfers are basically stating they don't have faith in this staff and why would any recruit believe in them. If they stay, next year will be completely awful, back to the last 5 years of Minkel era.

    NHS67 CMU is not going to hire Ben. They don't want to go the route of MSU. Casey and Bolyard would be the best hires but not sure if either would leave there current positions. Reader could be a good hire, in state recruiter could get a lot better.

    Nice win for Navy over Pitt 21-12, big wins by Grady Griess, David Key, Jon Ley, Josh Koderhandt and Brendan Ferretti, I believe all upsets! Should be a top 20 team now. Great job so far for Kolat.

    For NCAA, since dual meets means very little. I say, yeah, let's do it. Add a little bit more excitement. Every point matters!

    It's not punishing areas but rewarding areas that do support wrestling. Huge states like Florida and Texas that doesn't have a single Division 1 team should not be rewarded a tournament. And again, the real problem what program would put in an offer to host in a state they are not in?

    I am a firm believer that we should never reward areas that do not support college wrestling, so no Texas, Florida, etc. But Vegas would be a lot fun.
