  1. I think Dean is favored and on top of that people know Warner has not been healthy this season, which makes it even tougher.
  2. Yes, Cael prioritizes March, as he should. He has also been open about saying he allows the wrestlers to have a say about whether they shirt or not and that Levi won’t be at 157 for long. Levi came to State College his senior year of HS, he wants to wrestle and he has separated himself from other PSU options at 157. It’s not about Iowa, it’s about Levi wanting to go and his showing he’s ready to AA. You’ll see him Friday. No doubt in my mind.
  3. If anyone thinks Haines is not wrestling Friday night, you’re in for a rude awakening!
  4. 125 Lee fall 6-0 IA 133 RBY major 6-4 IA 141 Woods dec 9-4 IA 149 SVN dec 9-7 IA 157 Haines dec 10-9 PSU 165 Facundo dec 13-9 PSU 174 Starocci dec 16-9 PSU 184 Brooks major 20-9 PSU HW Kerk dec 23-9 PSU 23-9 Penn State!
  5. The biggest dual of the weekend. Many great matchups including Kerk vs Parris, Haines vs Lewan and Facundo vs Amine to name a few. How do people see this one going? Thoughts? Predictions?
  6. He might have been pinned, but either way, he lost. Coleman beat him fair and square. It happens even to the great ones. As a Penn State fan, I hope I can handle the loss with as much class and dignity as Aaron Brooks.
  7. Past credentials is just ONE criteria out of seven. It shouldn’t guarantee Lee anything because if he wrestles a limited schedule he’ll be trailing in other criteria such as record, number of pins, etc.
  8. I’m a Penn State fan and I was happy for Beard. I’m hoping Dean will straighten out whatever is going on with him. 197 is very much a toss up this year, with Elam probably being a slight favorite.
  9. Lol. You really are ridiculous. “Outside the top ten”? #13, who he dominated. That’s equivalent to a guy probably ranked 220? I’m done with this silliness. Goodbye.
  10. Lol. Pathetic effort. David Carr did not look gassed at all, while Lee was gassed in the 2nd. Carr was wrestling the 13th ranked guy in the country, not an unranked backup. Though one might say Kennedy didn’t deserve to be 13 and I’d have a difficult time debating that. Apples and oranges.
  11. It wasn't even Terukina who took him down it was the Iowa State BACKUP, Cabanban. Lee gassed horribly. He was no where near ready to wrestle.
  12. Wow. Zeke is relieved because now he won’t have to come up with a phony excuse when he would have had him duck Parris later on.
  13. 25 Terukina MAJ Harris, 4-0 ISU 33 Redding DEC Schriever, 7-0 ISU 41 Swiderski DEC Woods, 10-0 ISU 49 Murin DEC Johnson, 10-3 ISU 57 Siebrecht DEC Kraisser, 10-6 ISU 65 Carr DEC Kennedy, 13-6 ISU 74 Brands DEC Broderson, 13-9 ISU 84 Coleman DEC Assad, 16-9 ISU 97 Warner DEC Bastida, 16-12 ISU HW Cassioppi MAJ Schuyler, 16-16 ISU wins on criteria.
  14. Does Zeke allow Schultz to wrestle Parris or does he force him to duck like last season?
  15. Solid effort by Mendez. Byrd showed a complete lack of offense. He deserved to lose.
  16. Another fantastic pickup for my Nittany Lions. I’ll just trust Cael to figure out who wrestles at which weight and when.
  17. Very fair, but don’t be shocked if Van Ness beats Parco.
