I'd love to have @goheels1812, but in all fairness I offered the spot to @steamboat_charlie. @RockLobster was first dibs on @GreatWhiteNorth's spot, so he or she has that one. If we don't hear from Charlie by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow (Friday), heels is back in.

100% purely injury. Defaulting twice makes me believe the injury is pretty bad, I don't know if there's any history of a guy defaulting twice at conferences and still winning or even coming close. Nolf wrestled a couple of matches at Big 10s, then Mef FFT'd. Meh, I can still be a hater, lol. It's similar to how I felt about Nickal, who I hated and loved .

I do not believe Starocci is going to win, but I hope I'm wrong, it would be a cool story to be present for, and also, his antics are the kind of thing I'm there for, plus he's notably upped his dominance, which I always appreciate.

As i keep looking over the bracket, i keep coming back to "I'm annoyed by the numbers next to their names, but I like their spots." Quarters are always going to be tough, but even their lower seeded guys, many got the "best" potential quarterfinal opponent.

Mekhi either got a gift if Carter is seriously compromised or he got screwed. I thought the weirdest Penn State seed was Truax behind Pinto, given how that situation was handled throughout the other seeds (situation being split matches, but the wrestler who won at conferences being seeded higher).

Iowa got some funky seeds but in good positions in the bracket.

I agree with this. I don't agree with this. This part ties in with the general trend we're seeing of the guys in their 6th/7th year regressing, pobably just due to bodies getting beat up. College wrestling can be a grind. I do think COVID likely cost Spencer 4 titles and Iowa another team title, but it is what it is. It sucks, though.

...what are you talking about, the whole point of this thread is that Joe Biden has nothing to do with the situation, despite Katie Britt's attempts to insinuate otherwise. If you want to start a thread where you claim Joe Biden is a terrible person, feel free, it would be one of many. A refreshing change of pace from the last several months where he was senile.
