Wrestling Tournaments Are Always in the Middle of Nowhere

I was cleaning out my HD this morning and stumbled upon some photos from last year's Matmen Open, which Willie was very kind to let me come photograph as a freelancer. I sent photos out to the wrestlers last year and didn't do anything else with them, but thought I could share them with the board to celebrate the beginning of the college season: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CqeXwZoV6-IyCxSk0YBQ9LFWdUTAUcGe?usp=share_link

I wrote a bit about it that evening while I was editing photos at a bar between sessions. Unfortunately, I had to stay back home the next day because something came up, but it was great to be back around wrestling in the middle of the pandemic. Part of me wanted to give one last shot at being a wrestling journalist, but a bigger part of me just wanted to spend a day at another tournament.
