ASU vs Oregon State - Pac 12 Rivalry Sunday

Idaho

Recommended Posts

It's been awhile since the Beavers have beat ASU and last year the tourney was decided by a headgear celebration. Should be a good match-up. ASU has had several different lineups the last few duals. Ive got Oregon State winning a close one and ending the drought.

125 - Kaylor vs Courtney/Figs

133 - Shaner vs McGee

141 - Belton vs Vasquez - Interesting match up since Belton transferred out of ASU

149 - Gurr vs Parco

157 - Crosby vs Wilner

165 - Olguin vs Negron

174 - Olmos vs Valencia

184 - Munoz vs Montalvo

197 - Harvey vs Fagan/?

HWT - Dixon vs Schultz

Prediction: whoever ASU sends out at 125 is the starter the rest of the way.

Is Fagen the starter going forward?

Schunke started the last match at 197 for ASU ... they have had 4 different 184 in the last 4 matches...not sure if Montalvo will be back.  ASU has had a lot of different lineups the last 5-6 duals. Not sure who they send out Sunday.

Tough dual.  3 tight matches all went the Devils way: Kaylor/Courtney, Belton/Vasquez/, and Olmos/Valencia.

Olguin, Munoz, and Harvey looked great for the Beavs, McGee showed out for ASU.

Surprise of the night was Gurr pushing Parco, he was close to pulling a major upset.

I wouldn't be surprised if Schultz doesn't AA this year....  Something is off.

My takeaway is that the Olmos-Plott was an outlier
