CA_Wrestler
Very tough match between Dolgorjav and Stadnik. Susaki vs Stadnik on the bottom half semis Golston vs Pawar(IND) now in the quarters. Jiang Zhu(CHN) awaits the winner in the top half semis.
CA_Wrestler
Susaki was waiting for Stadnik on the mat and I stepped away? MFF aka scared? I figured Zhu would beat Golston and Zhu is up 5-0 at the start of the second period.
nhs67
Why is Zillmer defaulting out? "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
nhs67
Also Moore-Aeillo being 6-6 criteria for Moore was a surprise. "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
MPhillips
92 MOORE (USA) vs. MAISURADZE (GEO) GOLD. 97 SNYDER (USA) vs. AZARPIRA (IRI) GOLD. 50 GOLSTON (USA) vs. FENG (CHN) Bronze.
LJB
i am not mad at the way azarpira wrestles... he might be a little too slight in the frame to deal with snyder's kind of power, but, i am interested enough to actually make it a point to watch... LJB
watching snyder's semis and it almost looked like he made an actual par terre attempt for a couple of seconds... once... MAKES ME CRAZY does it fall more on the coaches or the athletes?

That was a very interesting sequence. I've been real critical of our front head offense and defense lately. This position is under utilized by Americans. El Luchador
Smith is a tough opponent for a young wrestler. He is a brawler and has a motor, but he is way too predictable and 1 dimensional. He is a throwers dream opponent. He will come in with excessive, predictable forward pressure. Just ask Spencer's cousin Nick who tried that approach earlier today and couldn't get through the first 2 minutes. Nick Lee wrestled just about the dumbest match I've seen anyone try against the best first period wrestler in the world. I'm a PSU fan and a big Nick Lee fan, but holy crap, that was terrible, god awful strategy against a guy known to have a horrificly bad gas tank.
