Mike Posted January 20, 2023 Share Posted January 20, 2023 (edited) I agree things have stagnated a bit and could use a change somewhere, but not sure if moving on from Goodale is the answer just yet They’ve definitely had a run of bad luck with injuries over the last year with Poz (AA his freshman year & redshirting this year), Turley (AA his freshman year and not even close to his former self), Janzer (2x state champ and a NQ his freshman year, and a shell of himself now), and now Boone McDermott is out Losing Kyonte Hamilton, the #1 heavyweight recruit to football after he enrolls Glasgow, Aragona, and Alvarez all flaking out. They still have a lot of young, top talent on the roster like Peterson, Oliveri, Poz, Soldano, Shawver, PJ Casale, and have done well in the portal so they can close some of the gaps especially at 157 & 165.
