Do u think Hawks is the starter now or is just keeping the spot warm?

I’ve been wondering that myself. I’m not sure. I know it was between Hawks and Harmon going into the scuffle and that was “a battle for the spot” Harmon was the 2 seed and didn’t perform well. Hawks lost early and won a couple on the backside. Neither placed. Harmon has been Mia lately and it’s been Hawks in the lineup. No clue if it’s injury related or Hawks is the man going forward.

It's possible that Missouri shuts out Wyoming (sad to say)

Surtin lost the first match. Didn't see it so I don't know what happened. Brown just won 15-3 (looked like he had the guy stuck in a scramble at the end). Glad to see they were able to get him a new eye so quickly.

In the extra match at 133,, Eric Lovelace defeats Josh Kyle 6-3. Both graduated from Francis Howell in Mo. Same school as Sammie Henson. Lovelace is the son of former Mizzou Wrestler Dan Lovelace. Josh  is the son of former state medalist Alex Kyle and the nephew of Mo legend Ethan Kyle. Who wrestlerd at Okie state, former Coach on the Wyoming staff and current head coach at Stillwater High.

Harman is wrestling at the Denker open today.

Both Harmon and Clayton Whittling are in the 184 bracket. Could face off in the finals should both make it. Mizzou is deep at 184, with Hawks as well. I’m not in the room or close to the program, but it would seem, the pecking order is Hawks, Harmon and Clayton. It’s going to be interesting how it shakes out over the next couple of years, who gets in the lineup and who doesn’t.

Yes, I was aware both Harman and Whiting were in the same bracket - and they DFF in the finals.

I only commented about Harman wrestling today because you questioned if it was injury related - since he was wrestling today, it would seem as if injury was not the reason.

I personally think Hawks would start.
He just beat Short of Wyoming who was HM ranked for a time. But he majored Deanthony Parker of NDSU... Who Harmon lost to.
His loss to Joel Devine is irrelevant since he was going to be behind Marcus Coleman anyway. Hawks has enough matches vs. DI and may qualify the spot.
in the next few weeks he has #17 Cade King (SDSU), HM Keegan Moore (OU), #12 Travis Wittlake (He lost 2-0 @ Scuffle) and #4 Coleman. If he wins one of those he will probably be an automatic bid earner and be seeded top 4 to 5. If he wins two he is probably 3rd seed at Big XII.
